This is not the first time Kangana Ranaut has taken matters into her own hands. Earlier during the filming of Simran, reports had stated that she was in charge of things on the sets.

Actress Kangana Ranaut is currently busy shooting for her upcoming movie Manikarnika and she is said to be taking complete charge of the filming in a bid to make a big hit in her career.

Kangana Ranaut is leaving no stone unturned to turn her period drama into one of the most talked-about films. Those present on the set testify that the actress is taking calls and is fully in control of the goings on there.

Sources say, "Kangana has been taking complete charge while on the sets. Not only is she improvising but also making changes conveniently, leaving nothing for the makers to decide. Everyone on sets is forced to submit to the actresses demands."

This is not the first time Kangana Ranaut has taken matters into her own hands. Earlier during the filming of Simran, similar reports had surfaced. Kangana's tiff with writer Apurva Asrani added fuel to the fire. It also vindicated the rumours that she was in charge.

Recently, Kangana's look from the sets was leaked and it gave rise to rumours that the look was Kangana's answer to Deepika's Padmavati. However, all this will help the film win the hearts of audiences or end up adding one more into the series of her flops.

Manikarnika is an epic biographical film based on the life of Rani Laxmi Bai of Jhansi and her war against the British East India Company during the Indian Rebellion of 1857. Baahubali scriptwriter KV Vijayendra Prasad has penned the story for the movie directed by Krish and produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain.

Kangana is playing Rani Laxmibai in Manikarnika, while Sonu Sood essays the male lead. Suresh Oberoi, Atul Kulkarni, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, Ankita Lokhande, Richard Keep, Nihar Pandya and Amit Behl will be seen in the supporting cast of the movie which is scheduled for release on 27 April 2018.

This kind of behavior will cost her. Those useless media wars with HR and co. won't matter but once Kangana starts acting like Kubrick or Hitchcock, without the experience or talent, no producer or top-level director would approach her.

Even if this movie tanks, which I'm afraid it will, she will get a shot at direction. And, I think, she will mess up badly because Kangana has a major problem: she underestimates those around her. She's suffering from the same delusion that Anurag Kashyap did when he decided to make Bombay Velvet - he just wanted to teach Bollywood people a lesson on filmmaking.

Whereas AK is one of the best filmmakers in the world today, Kangana is not and the screenplay she wrote, Simran, was a poor woman's attempt at writing a slice-of-life classic.

Kangana should really focus on one thing at a time. She's trying to be a know-it-all and do-it-all. This will backfire.

Aamir is a blockbuster king, who has found the perfect formula for critical and commercial success. He knows the pulse of the audience and his film making skills are superlative. How can you compare Aamir with Kangu? Door door tak there is no comparison, not even acting wise.

Not acting I compared their bossy behaviour.
Ya Kangna can never come close to his success and film making skills.

I didn't know she also took charge of Simran. no wonder the movie tanked so badly. If this continues then soon everyone will be put off by her behaviour and stop working with her.

Lol @ all these wannabe Aamir Khans. Aamir interferes and gets away with it cos his films end up being a huge success. When will these ppl get it?

But Amir took two decades before he started controlling (coming from filmy family). Till Dil Chahta Hain, we never heard Amir interference. First time in Lagaan, we heard.

After that, he spent years making Mangal Pandey. It might have been a failure. But since then, we hear more about his involvement in other aspects of movies.

Kangana is still young. Let her concentrate on acting first. She can expand later, with more experience.

Ya you are right. Aamir started taking control after he learnt more about film-making. He had enough experience behind him to back him up. but that's not the case with Kangna. Also Aamir has a very creative mind. He gives his 100% in whatever he does.
I should not have compared her with Aamir.

There is a fine line between influencing and dictating. As an actor grows, the actor will develop a personal aesthetic of how a film should be executed and made. Most directors value this input as the actor can bring nuances to the character and roles. But this interaction is a delicate negotiation. An honest, open and respectful discussion between individuals who are experts in what they do. The second anyone shuts out others and says my way or the highway - its a bad sign.
