Reports suggest that Karisma Kapoor may soon tie the knot with alleged beau Sandeep Toshniw.
Karisma Kapoor's alleged beau Sandeep Toshniwal's divorce with Ashrita finally came through yesterday. Toshniwal and now, ex-wife Ashrita were granted divorce by mutual consent by the court. The divorce battle had become prolonged and bitter owing to unresolved settlement issues. The ex-couple were married for 14 years and had been involved in an acrimonious separation battle for 7 years.
As part of the settlement, Sandeep and Ashrita's two daughters, aged 12 and 9, will get Rs 3 crore each. Ashrita will recieve Rs 2 crore, along with the flat in which she currently lives. The children will live with Ashrita, while Sandeep has been granted visitation rights.
The divorce battle had taken an ugly turn after Ashrita accused Sandeep of adultery and Sandeep in turn accused Ashrita of being schizophrenic. Last week, Sandeep Toshniwal and Ashrita worked out the settlement and were finally granted divorce by the court.
It now seems that the Kapoor Khandaan may hear wedding bells as it was reported that Karisma and Sandeep were waiting for the latter's divorce to come through before taking the plunge in matrimony. Karisma and Sandeep have allegedly been in a steady relationship for over three years. The rumored couple has been spotted in each other's company at parties and get-togethers. Karisma Kapoor too got divorced last year from ex-husband Sunjay Kapoor.
A source had told a leading daily, "There's a loose talk of Sandeep proposing marriage to Karisma and purchasing a three-bedroom home in Juhu. It seems that the alleged couple may soon make their relationship official by tying the knot.
