They should not try to convert regional folk songs . Original ghoomar songs are much much better but slb converts original for Hindi speaking audience.

Deepika looks stunning and the visuals are amazing but wish they would have release a different song first if they have another one to offer. Overall its good but underwhelming in comparison to Dewani Mastani and Nagada sang Dhol

Wanting to know more about Ghoomar, i did watch few videos on YT.. SLB has kept it very authentic n appreciate him for that..

Song is quite similar to what ppl dance in real life.. it changes from slow to fast n then slow beats.. Steps r slow indeed.. even slower than the movie one..

I'm glad he has kept the song authentic too.. It grows on you when you hear more..

After seeing these videos, so happy that DP has nailed the traditional form... with that heavy lehenga, fire it was really really tough but she pulled it off
