Beauty mogul Shahnaz Hussain has lived
quite an elaborate life and it comes as no
surprise that a biopic is being planned for
her. The person heading the project is
producer Bobby Bedi's daughter Puja Bedi.
Initially, Priyanka Chopra was approached to
play Shahnaz as Puja was keen on casting
her but going by the packed schedule
Priyanka has with her TV show Quantico
and her Hollywood projects, the actress is
unavailable for quite sometime.
Now, according to a leading daily, Aishwarya
Rai Bachchan has been shown the script.
Writer Kamlesh Pandey revealed, "Aishwarya
was always our first choice."
Seems like Shehnaz is also keen on
Aishwarya starring as her in her biopic.
Kamlesh added, "But we want
the tehzeeb and adab of the character to
reflect in the actor's DNA. The vocabulary
certainly could not be that of the Facebook
and Twitter generation. Aishwarya is
perfect, keeping in mind all these
prerequisites."
Recently, when Priyanka was asked by a
leading entertainment portal about her next
Bollywood movie, Priyanka stated, "Yes, I am,
as soon as I put pen to paper. I'm not
someone who's into like 'yeh
main kar rahi hoon. Yeh
announcement karo'. I believe in starting
the film and when there is...it's come to a
place where you can talk about it, then
people should see what I'm talking about
because otherwise, there are so many
speculations. I believe I've signed some 20
films, so far. I mean, I'm in conversation
with every film that's being made at the
moment. And, I am in conversation with a
few people. But, that doesn't make a film
and that definitely does not make news.
Trolling and speculative movie
announcements are two things that really
need to get out of entertainment news.
Then there will be so much more to talk
about. When did trolling become news?
How can someone's opinion on Twitter
become front page headlines? That's
