It's different topic how they both reacted to it.

Or how you treat kangu on her first kwk appearance?

Ranveer is Sonam Kapoor's cousin, he isn't outsider.

Anushka has worked in Dharma's ADHM? what else?

Karan back to whining childishly. Who can believe this guy is in his mid 40s?

Look, people can hire whoever they want to. If they believe star kids give them a bigger chance of a hit, I can't blame them for hiring them.

However, Karan goes far beyond that. He actually calls up other producers like Aditya Chopra to dump the actors they are using - like Anushka Sharma - because of how ugly they are or how they won't work.

He also blatantly lies that he auditioned thousands of girls but just couldn't get anyone better than Alia Bhatt. Stop lying and pretending the star kid you like is better than thousands of average people you tried out. This is plain BS and he knows it.

Faltu ka drama
Those who want to support outsiders should start financing movies and give them roles like anurag kashyap.

KJo is an idiot but its true...log aise nepotism nepotism chillate hain...jaise ki khud mauka chod dete...
will Kangna not have her kids enter this industry if they want to and not use her connections??

Did Parineeti not use Priyank's influence to get in the industry and so did PC's other million cousins..seriously with a face like Parineeti...she wouldn't even have been called for an audition..

Will Akki and SRK the outsiders not get movies for their kids if they want?

Everyone will use it...people should stop behaving as if they are doodh ke dhule.

^^Exactly this!!! Is it unfair? Completely. But would these people have not used these chances if they had that clout/power/influence? Not a chance in hell. And there is no use pretending otherwise. It is what you do with that chance, your hard work & your luck, because luck plays a huge role however much we would like to pretend it is only our hard work & ambition that brought us success; that determines if you win or you lose. RK is absolutely right that if the audience doesn't accept you as a star, you don't stand a chance & in that way the audience is a massive equaliser. There are many Kapoor kids but One has to wonder why only a Karisma, Kareena & RK became/have become huge stars. It also bears to keep in mind that there can be no bigger hype for star-children than Ambitabh Bachchan's son & Dream Girl Hema Malini & Desi Greek God Dharmendra's daughter, Esha Deol, yet no-one sank faster, and has been laughed harder at, than these two & a B-grade actor & director, Rakesh Roshan's son, Hrithik Roshan, who has become a superstar.

KJo is milking this issue & is a whiny bitch, but the others hide their insecurity & self-righteous jealousy beneath this Nepotism debate.

LOL the outrage at nepotism.
If looks was the sole requirement for calling people for auditions , wonder what would have happened to the likes of Nawaz, Irfan etc.

People talk about nepotism because everyday from media to the likes of Kjo start marketing star-kids years before the even learn to spell the word audition. People crib about nepotism because even before the general public has seen one shot of a star-kid , magazines like filmfare call them future superstar or acting wonder. People blame BW for nepotism because of this constant "fraternity jaap" where filmakers would hold auditions and then take star kids even if they are over-weight.

@BI- PC Jr might not have the face , nor did Aalia when she auditioned for a hot bimbo role for SOTY. She was over-weight, wooden and the role needed a college hottie, when she looked like a child. She was the "find" after lakhs were auditioned- that farce is why BW gets trolled alot.

Lol ya KJo has himself expressed disgusted repeatedly, on how Anushka & RS were chosen because they were "so ugly & he couldn't even look at them on a film poster". Now RS I can understand because he isn't good-looking, but Anushka pre-surgery was pretty! Maybe not movie-star pretty, but pretty she was. Also was a model, so has a great body. KJo has unreasonable standards of beauty which signal his low self-esteem & vanity.

Oh come on,

Her hiring her sister as HER own personal manager is not the same as KJo blocking outsiders from entering the industry, from going to every single director and telling them he will finance their films as long as they take his favs in their films and not anyone else, it's not the same as KJo + entitled brats like Alia telling the others to get out of the industry, and it is not the same as him calling up big producers like Aditya Chopra and telling him he should not work with outsiders like Anushka and Ranveer.

There is a big difference between the two and let's not sidestep the issue at hand.
