This doesn't surprise me one bit. Alia is and has been extremely defensive about nepotism because she knows her entire career has been handed to her on a platter because of nepotism and she would have no career if it wasn't for nepotism. That's why I said only Ranbir's answer was smart because he at least acknowledged his advantages whereas Alia is like..yeah it exists.

LOL, then Kangana was a genius who walked away scot-free from the debacle that was Rangoon.

It's the mark of a star to walk away completely unaffected from a massive failure.

And oh no matter what these people HR or Kjo can't win against Kangana. I remember reading an article which said she learnt to survive on the streets. That is very true. No amount of connection money can beat experience. Not possible for them to gain Kangana's experience in this lifetime.

Yep. Same reason nobody can win against SRK. When you've been shaped by the world and all it's harshness, you learn to survive. They can take punches but they won't go down.

TBH, MAMI has become more of a promotional fest as the years have gone by. Otherwise there is no reason why they would get Golmaal Team and KJO/Alia/Ranbir there to talk about their next films. It is highly possible that KJo insisted on getting Alia and Ranbir on the panel. He is desperately trying to drum up interest in their film, but no one cares. He has a huge budget that he needs to justify or find financiers for.

From Masand's twitter, it seemed like MAMI only really had 1-2 genuine conversations planned such as the directors one and probably the one with Vidya.
