Where are the parents of these kids?Why would they tolerate such lecherous behavior?

Don't the parents have to sign any legal papers (permission slip similar to that of school) to let their underage kids work?

She was young but was playing an adult character. I guess maybe that was the reason. 😕

I think Avika Gor, the girl who was 13 when she was paired with an older man(Manish Raisinghania), and Manish are together since that show. That really seems wrong to me. It's as if someone in that impressionable age got stuck with such an older man, because she got used to him or something 😕

Exactly, I don't understand these double standards. Both are equally creepy. At least in PPK, they didn't get to the romance part yet, but these 2 shows really take the cake. Seriously, why do these underage girls have to get exposed to stuff like saas-bahu, mistress and romance at such a young age? And no one protests against it. Not only this, I see no one protesting against males abusing the females in the shows. Hence, more shows are based on these concepts and the female leads get younger yet.

Mahesh is an A grade creep. I remember an episode on BB where he took Sunny Leone outside for a -cough- private chat. And the way the dude's hands were lingering on her. All under the guise of acting as a mentor to her since he came to the house esp to offer her work cus he thought she was worthy of good opportunities. His creepy mentorship is so in your face. Yuck.

Exactly. Especially when it's so glaring on-screen that they're underage. It sends out the wrong message to the perverts out there. If you need to cast a under-age girl, give her an age-appropriate role or at the least, be more sensitive about the kind of character she's playing.
