Rahul Gandhi only mentioned AB jr, when talking about dynasts of India, didn't mention the Kapoor family but AB jr didn't respond... Just ignored him :)

Try harder to keep the mask on sweetie - Ranbir may try so much to be nice and calm, his bapu goes and make his non-classy in one one interview

He makes a good point though. Bombay Velvet and Jagga Jasoos failed due to director over indulgences.

I can understand people's concern with Anurag Basu not being able to complete the film a few days/weeks in advance. It's kind of irresponsible.
But apart from that I don't really care about what Rishi has to say about Jagga Jasoos. I think it was a very cute and well made film.
When Barfi worked well, at that time no one complained about Anurag Basu's working or film making style or going over-budget. Barfi is probably Ranbir's best film till date.
But now that JJ has not worked, Rishi is busy ensuring that his son does not has to shoulder any responsibility of the failure. Same goes for Bombay Velvet failure as well.
When the films work, Ranbir gets the credit. Even Rishi gives credit to Ranbir for his unusual choices. But when the film fails .. then its the director who has to take the entire 100% responsibility. Too much!

He is partly right, both kashyap and basu makes better small budget films with content. Big budget films are not their forte. Though JJ is still a great film, BV was surely disappointing.
