Kangana in Simran is the best performance in several years let alone this year.

I watched first 15-20 min of JHMS...couldn't continue after that. Anushka was horrible and her forced gujju accent was even worse...

I haven't watched either Rangoon or Simran yet. But looking at the reviews...Kangana seems like the potential contender for critic award for sure

this is 2016 winners on repeat

best actress : deepika for padma (deepika for piku then)

best actress critics : kangana for simran (kangana for twmr then)

anushka may get stardust awards at max like she did for sultan/adhm..more serious awards won't even consider any of the 2 performances of hers..they were neither critically praised to a large extent and were BO disasters)

I don't want Bhumi to go unnoticed this year
I want a trophy for Kriti too, she is brill in BKB
I want a trophy for Kangu too
I will pass Alia this year

BOIFA will be tough this year .

Probably Bhumi or Kriti (popular choice since they got critical acclaim and their films were hit).

Still, I feel either Deepika or Vidya will take the cake. I have a strong feeling that Tumhari Sullu will do well.

BoIFA should be earned not given. ⭐️ I won't stop until it becomes the most prestigious award in the country...because it is chosen by the esteemed jury who trash every other awards. 😳
