Its times like this that i wish Kajol had made her home production in time, she had a real chance. Well, i guess there is no viable candidate next year too so its all good.

But for this year i want Bhumi to win. Although its quite obvious Deepika will make sure she wins cuz she needs a "comeback" narrative desperately. Although I remember Madhuri winning for DTPH and boasting about still being viable and BAM from the next year her career was annihilated.

And i guess its Ranveer's year again.

Really surprised no one is talking about Sridevi and Mom. It was one of the finest performances EVER. It should be hers! She was robbed for English Vinglish!

Kangana is a strong contender as well!

Other than that there is no one and nobody. Lets be real lol Plus Padma is delayed so I think Deepikas out of the race :)

Also Bhumi has been great...but award worthy? Nah! Thats not happening lol

Shes still fairly new and nobody knows who she is. If Shraddha does an average job in Haseena, she has more chances than Bhumi lol - as sad that is..its true!

Am I the only one who found Mom and Sridevi underwhelming compared to the hype.
Mom And Ghazi attack are two movies which I personally didn't found to be as good as the hype.

that solid punch from sridevi in mom was missing ...at least for me.

and movie mom was disappointing for me...as per hype.

simran movie also disappoints, deffo not up to mark, but kangs gives a solid punch ...as far as performance goes.

Like I said earlier in this thread, Mom underwhelmed me. It seemed a lot like Drishyam but the difference being Drishyam was way better than Mom. Both performance and story wise. Mom wasn't crisp in terms of story telling and Sridevi was good but not phenomenal in the movie. English Vinglish over Mom for me.

Also, OT again: I wish Vikrant Massey gets some recognition for his amazing work in Death in the Gunj. This guy is so talented. If only he had the personality of a star.
