Some of the top heroines in recent times have NOT been steroids. Katrina? Deepika? Priyanka? Kareena has a point. At the end of the day audience gets to have the last say.Not all outsiders should be hailed just coz they're outsiders, similarly not all star kids are successful if the audience doesnt like them. Some exceptions make it though. Hell people shit on Arjun Kapoor all the time but his films work. He has quite a fan following.
Still it being done in one field doesn't make it acceptable in others. Ill give you a another example can you say women oppression is ok in India because the United States still has some degree of it. That seems to me to be the gist of her argument because done in business, politics, medical profession to some extent it makes ok in Showbiz? I don't agree with her because like I said I don't adhere to two wrongs making a right philosophy? Yes connection lay down the foundation for nepotism but that's not her argument her argument because its acceptable everywhere else; it makes acceptable in Bollywood.
The second part of her argument makes more sense if there is an Alia there is Kangana. In both case talent has prevailed. But Kangana struggled a lot more then Alia, even though she too was appreciated by critics from early on.
