[New Delhi: The Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan feud has been resurfacing in headlines after the actress began referring to her alleged ex and THE apology she's been asking for over a year now in interviews ahead of her next movie Simran. Amidst all this, singer Sona Mohapatra, who has a fair bit of reputation for being outspoken with unexpected posts on social media, decided to address a letter to Kangana. Sona, who has previously advocated against sexism in various Facebook posts, tells Kangana in the letter that (no offence) her PR drill ahead of Simran is like "a big dis-service to the cause of feminism and fair play."

Sona confessed to being a fan of Kangana's bold persona before offering a piece of advice, adding that her publicity-seeking statements are "in bad taste." This is what her post says: "I have always cheered loudly, in private and in public for you. Long, long before you turned queen et all but your current run across the airwaves regurgitating personal details of your love life over and over again, washing dirty linen in public and more so as part of a professional PR campaign before your film release is in bad taste. No two ways about it."

Sona also adds that the ongoing trail of updates on the Kangana Ranaut vs Hrithik Roshan section is not something Kangana actually needs (but we guess, she knows better?). "Wish you well and wish you would rise above this muck & make your point through actions & your work. Your success doesn't need this tabloid trail," Sona writes in her post. Typical Kangana-like responses are welcome but "the current 'circus', not," she adds.

It was in the beginning of last year, when Kangana received a legal notice from Hrithik asking for an apology for appearing to refer to him as her 'silly ex' in an interview. Following which, an irked Kangana shared details of an alleged affair with Hrithik - something which the Dhoom 3 actor continues to deny. Kangana claimed Hrithik sent her an overwhelming number of e-mails while Hrithik filed a complaint with the police to track down the imposter pretending to be him to Kangana. The actress went on record last week to tell India TV and News 18 that Hrithik has been avoiding her.

Aditya Pancholi to take legal action against Kangana Ranaut read EXCLUSIVE statement

[I]Kangana Ranaut has been on a rant. The actress has been doling out interviews after interview for her upcoming film Simrans promotions, but her chat has been anything about the film. The actress recently in an interview took on everyone from Hrithik Roshan to Karan Johar and even included journos in her personal fight. The actress even revisited her not so pleasant past with senior actor Aditya Pancholi. Of course, while not many have opened up or reacted to Kangana's fiery statements Pancholi senior is ready to take on his ex-lover. When BollywoodLife reporter Manisha Mandal got in touch with Aditya he seemed furious and even went on to say, "She is a mad girl, what to do, did you see the interview? Didn't you feel like some mad person was talking? Who talks like that? We have been in the industry for so long, nobody has ever spoken anything so evil about anyone. What should I say, she's a mad girl. If you throw stones in mud, it will only spoil your clothes.

That's not all Aditya even confirmed that he's planning to sue Kangana and said, "I am going to take a legal action against her. She is lying that's why I am taking legal action against her. I don't know about other people, but as far as my story goes and what she has spoken about me, she has said all lies. She has to prove that I have done that. My family is very much affected by it. My wife and I will take legal action against her.

It's not as if Pancholi is new to controversies, the actor however revealed that he is deeply affected by all this, "I am just hurt, and in all this controversy. I am so worried about her, she is such a good actress. God has given her so much, she should be grateful about it. She should be now more humble and nice to everyone. According to her, the entire world is villain and only she is nice.

Dear Kangana, I have always cheered loudly, in private & in public for you. Long, long before you turned queen et all but your current run across the airwaves regurgitating personal details of your love life over & over again, washing dirty linen in public & more so as part of a professional PR campaign before your film release is in bad taste. No two ways about it. Also, it does a big dis-service to the cause of feminism & fair play. Wish you well & wish you would rise above this muck & make your point through actions & your work. Your success doesn't need this tabloid trail. Your well thought out & superbly worded open letters of the past, fearless interviews addressing larger issues, taking a stand, taking legal recourse are welcome. The current 'circus', not.

This is just another opinion in the public domain from one working woman to another, from the heart & on an impulse. There is no PR machinery or team guiding me here.
I do believe that there are plenty of feminists in the opposite gender. Men who cheer the cause of outspoken, feisty, fierce & hard working women like you & me. We don't 'need' them as such but let's not forget them & also the thousands of amazing women who fight the good fight on a daily basis with dignity .

Life might not have been easy but you are in a great place now. More so to influence positive change. That is worthy of a daily celebration.
Also, today is Onam, a thanksgiving festival in the South. The mythology surrounding the festival is significant - it emphasizes the Hindu belief in the cyclical nature of events, that no individual, no ruler and nothing lasts forever, except the virtues and self-understanding that overcomes all sorrow.

So, Happy Onam.

Big love & healing to you.
(P.S To the so called 'journos' hankering after this masala & asking those thaka hua questions. )

Its not even funny anymore how this Sona woman just waits for the opportunity to cash in on controversy. Tired of her barking.

Pancholi though... 🤪
Its a treat watching that d*uche lose his temper and make a fool of himself. 😆

Clearly, Aditya thinks we are drunkards like him who forget our actions the morning after. What about the Jiah Khan case? Or what about the fact that he raped a minor when he was Pooja Bedi's boyfriend. The minor was her maid. Did he forget we knew all that? The whole world knew then how he abused Kangana because there were witnesses and it was all over the paper.

Now only he remembers he has a wife and family 😆
