We watched the movie. It wasn't bad. Action flick. I would give 6/10.

Baadshaho Loses Holiday Benefit On Wednesday

The box office went back to normal on Wednesday as all the post Eid benefit went out of the equation. All releases were being boosted by good collections in Muslim centres on Monday and Tuesday and these fell back to normal levels on Wednesday. Baadshaho was worse hit as the holiday factor went out as it was performing best at B and C centres. The film collected 3.50-3.75 crore nett on Wednesday to take its total to 51 crore nett plus. The first week will finish with collections of 54 crore nett plus and its fate will depend on day eight and if that is reasonable it may become an AVERAGE fair. The six day business of Baadshaho is as follows.

Friday - 10,10,00,000

Saturday - 13,50,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 13,00,00,000 apprx

Monday - 5,25,00,000 apprx

Tuesday - 5,50,00,000 apprx

Wednesday - 3,75,00,000 apprx

Total - 51,10,00,000 apprx

Shubh Mangal Saavdhan also fell on Wednesday for the same reasons as Baadshaho but as it was benefiting less from the holiday factor as business outside the metros is poor it did not fall as much as Baadshaho. Despite the fall the film is in a decent position and the week will end at 23 crore nett and then its all depending on week two and it could give Baadshaho a good battle in week two. The film will be an AVERAGE fair at worst and could go up a notch or two depending on how it behaves after the first week. The six day figures of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan are as follows

Friday - 2,64,00,000

Saturday - 5,50,00,000

Sunday - 6,00,00,000

Monday - 2,40,00,000 apprx

Tuesday - 2,75,00,000 apprx

Wednesday - 2,00,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 21,29,00,000 apprx

Watched the movie. Its a good one time watch. 7/10. I think everyone acted well though Emraan and Ileana stood out for me

I don't like the kinda movies a jay devgan comes up with so I never even watch trailers of his movies but I had some free time and started watching thinking to finish it in 10 minutes which I usually do with shahrukh khan movies. But surprisingly ended up watching the whole thing. I liked it very much and planning to watch again for missing the begining to which I didn't pay much attention.

sorry I am broke currently and can't afford to pay to watch but if I had money or if somebody sponsored free tickets I'd definitely spend on this one.

4stars from me.

Baadshaho Drops On Day Eight

Baadshaho has taken a big fall on day eight with collections of 1.50 crore nett which takes its business to 55.75 crore nett apprx in eight days. The film needed to do around 80 crore nett plus to be some sort of success but that is impossible now and the film could fold up with collections less than 70 crore nett. The collections have dropped around 50% from Thursday.

The film had a decent first week but that was mainly because of the Eid factor which bumped up collections in some circuits. This made the collections look decent and the main problem was that although it performed better in single screens and B and C centres the collections were still just average or above average and not good. So when a film does not get good collectiond among its target audience it is going to drop at some point. The collections of Baadshaho till date are as follows.

Week One - 54,25,00,000 apprx

Second Weekend - 1,50,00,000 apprx (Friday)

TOTAL - 55,75,00,000

The second Friday collections of the film are very similar to Shubh Mangal Saavdhan on day eight but that film is likley to show much better growth over the weekend and will probably collect more than Baadshaho in the second week.
