The newest trend is marrying your own self in a real ceremony. 😕 and, that is normal for people because it is an expressionof self love.*slow claps*

Did you face any discrimination because of your preferences? It must be hard I guess.
The societyis so messes up that they have made hetro-normality as hetro-sexuality and something that encroaches that territory scares the crap out of them. They are like the three Bandars of Gandhi with a twist.

Everyday , I had some miserable years, Now I am done with these kind of people, Most LGBTQ people had to fight depression due to this discrimination they faced , I am not effeminate , so I faced it way more less than probably a friend who is .

Kjo made the mockery of homosexuality in Dostanna.
Its a blessing for the community, no Indian directer/producer is making movie on such sensitive subject.

The society which questions a rape victims character will never accept homosexuality. This society is only for married, straight human beings. Disgusting.

Yes, the constant negativity gets to you. More power to you. Keep living your life the way you want.

People really need to widen their horizons. During my first few months of college, few girls had tagged me a lesbian because I was a Tom boy and never had a boyfriend. They started spreading rumours and I was like whatever keeps you people entertained.

Can you imagine that the argument once presented was that the rape did not happen because the girl enjoyed the sex.
🤢 I was like can anyone tell this illiterate that she said NO but her hormones will act no matter what as that is what the body is supposed to do when it happens even though it is happening forcefully.

Justice A.P. Shah wrote an article which is actually too good dealing with both the cases and there he mentioned that the LGBTQ are around 2 percent but I figured that has to be more than that so assumed it then be 3%. However the number can be higher than that.

20% of millenials identify as LGBTQ. And these are those who dared to come out of the closet. I am sure there will be more. Besides, among my college/friends circle, there are at least 3 LGBTs out of every 10 I know. Hence I arrived at 30%.

My family is close-minded, the type to think homosexuality is a mental disease to be cured. The only gay people they had seen, is on screen, in Dostana and some crap comedies, which obviously worsened their perception of gay men. I made them watch Modern Family with me (where one of the 3 couples is gay) and first, they were shocked that a gay couple was adopting a child and living happily as a family unit but after a few eps, it became normal to them. I think this is the way our cinema should normalise homosexuality, show them as friends/family of the leads and living happily, till the point society accepts them without hesitance.

Yes, a movie depicting their struggles and how happy they are together. I know I would watch it. 😊
