akki does act quite well now and has been giving consistently hits. but that's it.his acting skills are still not very polished now.

Good but could be better in romance.

If he's not the most versatile he's definitely up there especially considering how far ahead he's of his peers in Comedy and action. More importantly he can fit into most roles which not many can't. Another thing to consider is an Akshay film takes 45 days to shoot, it's one take and done, unlike a year it takes for others. If he chose to give retakes after retakes he could be even better. Akshay Kumar has come a long way.
