Is Akshay Kumar the most versatile actor in Bollywood?

I think so. He has done every genre with perfection whether it's action, romance, comedy or some other.

Well, it depends on what do you mean by versatility. Akki has done alot of movies in his career but how many challenging roles he has done in the span of 27 years?? Is there any performance of Akki in which completely nailed that role and made it completely irreplaceable?? Pretty much nothing except his comedy movies where he played almost the same character most of the time.

If we are ONLY talking about genres and NOT characters, then yes, Akki is very versatile and has been successful in almost all genres from action, comedy, drama, romance. BUT, doing "action" is not really "acting". Tiger Shroff can do action but he can't act to save his life.
So that means we are actually talking about Akki as a Versatile "Hero" and not actor.
Now for a "Hero", versatility is much more than acting. In that respect, I'll say Hrithik is much more Versatile than Akki.
Hrithik can act, dance...he's more good looking and charming than Akki...He also has a good body...
Hrithik has done action, drama, romance. Okay, he has not done an out-and-out comedy movie. But he has shown some of his comic timing in KMG and Lakshya.
Other than that, HR has played a number of distinct characters like a mentally challenged guy, a superhero, a blind guy, a King, a physically crippled man. You can see the range. Can Akki play a Superhero or a King?? Some of the genres he has done aren't touched by any actor in Bollywood.

So IMO, Hrithik is the most versatile actor in Bollywood both in terms of genres as well as characters.

Action Hero he is from before... and Romantic Hero again yes he is..He can Dance too..

Yes Akki is Versatile Actor..

Nawaz among all; if it's stars we're talking about, Aamir easily. Akshay is more versatile than Salman and SRK though.

No he is not the most versatile, because Akki's biggest problem is while he is strong in dialogue baazi, his accent/voice modulation is a weak point.
But Akshay is yes versatile actor when it comes to expressing himself, who has worked hard enough to be a competent actor.
He has picked up very excellent nuances, or little expressions to convey his(or the character's feelings). For example in Rowdy Rathore(IMO his best performance ever after Brothers), the way he was able to convey the strict police officer and a goofy thug was par excellence and one of the greatest double roles of all time.
In Airlift he shed all of his comedy/action persona and was engaged representing a person who does express him in a very realistic and normal way.
The best thing about Akshay is ever since he has picked up his game, he haas rarely been horrible or bad when it comes to acting. His movie may loose track be crap, but his acting has maintained a standard which rarely falls.
