It was 1 hit out of many flops. Their were post here about him being finished.

But that doesnt go with your pattern of "down after being overshadowed".
Breaks the pattern that you claim. Shahid was HIGH after JWM even though Kareena overshadowed him. That was the RISE of Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor.

Shahid rose HIGHER with Kaminey. All actors encounter flops, look at Ranbir. Who was he overshadowed by? Look at Vidya, she's giving flops, who was she over shadowed by.

Your're not making sense.

Yeah the average working women have obstacles, some more than Kareena. That goes for everyone.

Everyone has different obstacles. Are you really comparing average mango people to film stars? Dude, since when do film stars have ANYTHING that's comparable with the average people? IT's a GIVEN they have more help. It's a GIVEN that they're rich therefore their struggles are easier. Don't compare Kareena to the average woman.

Compare her to her contemporaries. She's balanced her career as well if not better than her contemporaries and that needs to be appreciate and accepted. There should be MORE Kareenas, more actresses who don't just leave the limelight coz they have kids. More actresses that stay relevant, have a big project on hand, have plenty of endorsements, still feature on Filmfare, right after a kid.

There was a lull in his career. He himself points out that his career has done better after someone helped him make better decisions.

Still doesnt follow your pattern. By your logic, JWM HURT Shahid coz he was overshadowed and it was the end.

That is the OPPOSITE of what happened. JWM gave Shahid a boost and opportunity to ride on that high. His film choices post Kaminey and JWM were horrible, hence his flops and he came back down. It was NOTHING to do with being over shadowed. It has to do with films that flopped and nobody enjoyed.

Ok if you think balancing her life was that difficult and their something she has done to be applaud then great. As far as I know Udta Punjab happened before she has Taimur and we're still awaiting the results of Veere di wedding.

I think one semi hit out of many flops that came after JWM doesn't hurt my logic at all.

I'm just saying, girls' given success literally LAST YEAR. No need to make ti seem like she has no career. She just took off 9 months to give birth to a child and jumped back to get into shape. Literally was pregnant standing during the promotions of Udta and nobody knew.
Veere takes off in September. IMO, she's been on track. No reason to say her career's gone, blah blah blah. Not like she's been giving flop after flop. And even THEN people don't make a big hoopla. Like Vidya's last film was a flop. Kangana had a flop in Rangoon. Kareena's last films were hits.

Your logic: Actor is flop if overshadowed even if movie is hit.

It makes no sense to me. But you go ahead and believe it.
