The one and only SRIDEVI turns 54 and still continues to rock. ⭐️

My childhood favorite... wishing her many great years ahead. Hope she continues to entertain us for many years to come. Loved her in MOM. ❤️ ❤️

Sadma is her best performance. Her performance in Gumrah was also really good. Today I was watching chandni on setmax. I must say she was soo beautiful & charming. My dad said in 80's and early 90's sridevi was a superstar. She was like a hero. People would go to watch the movie just for her.

Happy birthday to Srideviii... the most unique charm of cine-world! 🤗❤️

I haven't seen any of her Hindi movies, have caught fragments of all movies on TV actually.

My most favorite performance is Kshana Kshanam, without a doubt!:)

I've no knowledge about her work in South industry but in BW this is by FAR the best film she has ever done in her illustrious career. Though I don't think highly of her as an actress but I just love watching this film again & again. A masterpiece in the true sense! She was amazing in it. Though I can't find the GIF or clip of that scene atm but the one where Sashi goes to the coffee shop remains my most favorite part of EV. 🤣

EV is undoubtedly her most subtle work in sync with current times. Her peak years were in the unfortunate 80s and early 90s era were the quality of cinema was really sub-standard. The fact that she shone then and rose over the banal scripts is to her credit. The silver lining then were her Yashji collaborations, Chaalbaaz, Mr. India, the underrated Khuda Gawah and of course Gumrah/Laadla/Judaai. Sadma was the kind of arty performance she was used to in South before she became a commerical Hindi film heroine.

OT: Here's the famous coffee scene. She deserved a Filmfare just for this scene alone. 👏

I just hope someone makes a silent film with her in future. NA is guaranteed. ⭐️

Nonetheless, thrilled with her meaty performances in films like EV and MOM. Now that's how you comeback.

^^ This scene is quite painful to watch. Sri acted beautifully. Her voice trembles when she says "nescafe". And it doesnt look like she's acting but is actually shaky and embarassed. With her comeback she proves why she was called a superstar in her times.
