YES. They were setting the screen on fire. Seriously, it would be almost embarrassing to see this movie with your parents or older family members. It's weirdly intimate without really showing too much at all.

I'm not surprised at all that people seem so outraged. I mean okay, you can dislike it but there is this huge amount of anger. Something is really setting them off with this movie.

You finding the right words my friend! Weirdly intimate...even in the first half like there was just something there even when they weren't touching each other. There was this sexual tension and intimacy that made me go fuzzy! I don't know why people got angry either, the day I find out I will let you know too 🤣

Anyway, Sejal is a complex character, JHMS is a complex film, it needs a heart and emotional depth to understand what they were saying and doing and why.. Sejal wanted to break away from her shallow existence, break free so that search for the ring was actually a search for what she was missing in her life.

I can't actually remember what it was like here during Tamasha as this is the most active I've been in the Bollywood forum but I am VERY sure you are not lying.

Tamasha must've been bashed badly back then. That's what this forum does, it feeds on negativity and some time later it decides to call those same movies classics! I personally loved Tamasha too but this forum makes a better Tamasha out of itself!
