I dont know what family channel means because I have never been a fan of any censorship. If I am not ok with something I would change the channel instead of going around and forcing people to accept only my way of life like its the right way.

As for me I am a citizen of the world with a conscience. I will protest against injustice like child marriage, female genital mutilation, sati, dowry, a man beating a woman, a woman beating a man wherever in the world be it so called "enlightened" west or Afghanistan or Africa or a TV show in India. TV shows normalize this and that is not acceptable. I will be narrow minded and protest each and every time I come across something like this. I will not change the channel.
