There is so much talent hidden in South film industry. Bcoz it's not accepted Nationwide like Bollywood, many people don't know that.

Aamir Khan is miles far away from Kamal, Vikram, Surya, Mammoty , Mohanlal, etc etc. Aamir got recognition Nationwide and others being part of regional didn't get that much recognition even though they were more talented..🥱

Definitely Kamal Haasan...hes the Best Actor...

He was just brilliant in Sadma and Appu Raja...even in commercial movies like Ek Duuje Ke Liye or Sagar, he was outstanding.

If you would have said that about Mohanlal, toh naar samajh atti, but Kamal himself is a big method actor, just like Aamir. Although even I rate Kamal over Aamir but this miles ahead wala cheez ajeeb laga. it is like saying Diego Maradona is miles ahead of Zico/Platini.

Kamal Hassan is better. He would be rated lower here because this forum doesn't watch his movies. Aamir is a decent actor but Kamal is phenomenal.

Actually weh south ke Mammothy, Mohanlal, Kamal Hassan are better actor than most of our superstars in BW, IMHO.

He has done enough movies to be rated well. Kamal Hassan is highly(and rightfully) rated very high in IF.

well not all method actors are methodical.the point is you should look natural and effortless onscreen. it doesn't matter for how long you rehearse a particular scene yet when people watch u onscreen,you are so natural that the effort is not seen.my point about aamir's acting not being convincing enough has got nothing to do with him being a method actor

To be honest, i never found aamir to be a brilliant actor.just because he stars in good movies that doesn't mean he himself is the best actor.i have only liked taalash and dhobi ghat among his post DCH works,in terms of acting. he had his moments in those films despite their critical acclaim.
