Salman/Aamir or any disliked actresses' one flop film and this forum comes out to murder them. Also it's not like SRK has made a single watchable film in recent years. Not only "this forum" but the actual viewers have been rejecting his classics for quite a while. If anything, this forum does the opposite while in real life, people seem to have given up on SRK or are in the process of it. Paying viewers are saying his films are average to bad, it's not like we are making up stuff here.

Truer words have never been spoken. 👏

SRK needs to buckle up and gracefully transition into mature characters. His stardom is fading. The most affected by this movies failure will be him no matter how much we try to put the blame on others be it the director or the audience.
He needs to accept it and move on to better things. Introspection is required.

I have to agree with u though that Imtiaz has a poor track record...tamasha was a horrible film and for SRK and anushka to sign a film with imtiaz after that he shud have had a stellar script which this one clearly did not

Well what i meant was that its easier to blame the director once the film fails without taking responsibility for the same. Imtiaz has always sucked as a director. Am pretty sure SNT and JWM were flukes. Every single film of his has the same basic theme about self-discovery and he conveys life lessons in the most convoluted manner possible. You sign a director after he has made stuff like LAK, Rockstar and Tamasha. You should know what to expect 😆 I can understand the logic behind choosing say ALR cos both Raanjhanaa and TWMR were really good films. But Imtiaz 😆 Why blame the poor guy though. SRK and Anu knew what they were getting into.

For JHMS both SRK and Anu are being praised by most critics and members also, even music is good and some songs are hits already

Everyone is blaming Imtiaz and the story...so if its bad then the story or lack of is to be blamed and Imtiaz is to be blamed for what everyone is saying a bad 2nd half

I have not watched it yet so dont know if Imtiaz story really sucks
This forum particularly bashes every movie of SRK, they even bashed Raees which turned out to be successful at the end so I have my doubts abt people's verdicts here 😆

Really what are you smoking? Just a month ago salman was bashed endlessly for tubelight, Ranbir was bashed mercilessly for jagga and his other flops. Hrithik was bashed for mohenjodaro and even Aamir was bashed for dhoom. .

Srk is at least praised by BOI whereas other actors ain't as lucky as him.

SrK is still the biggest global star beating HW legends in google and obviously his charm filled dimples abd wide open arms are enough .. 😆

And how weak is your memory? Salman fans also blamed Kabir Khan continuously for TL disaster
Even BOI had articles blaming Kabir Khan for TL failure

as for forum bashing, most of the active members now bashing JHMS had gone into hiding at TL time, only 9-10 members were bashing TL which included you too. Recently, all those missing people have come out of hiding to bash JJ and JHMS 😆

SRK is never supported by BOI, thats a myth spread by BOI fanboys here, BOI has reduced SRK movie collections many times and jacked up the budget later to play with the verdict
BOI is very clearly a sallu fansite, they hate Aamir and SRK

Haven't seen the movie. So just going off of what people are saying that the leads did well, but that there was no story.
Here I would blame both Imtiaz and SRK. Imtiaz being the director, for such a weak script and SRK, for choosing a movie which lacked a good script. Unfortunately, SRK is repeating the same mistake again and again. While his acting is being commended and rightly so, that alone is not enough. Else, Irrfan Khan, Nawaz, Manoj Bajpayee would be at the top.

I loved the trailer! I saw the SRK that I adore in it. I would've even gone to the theaters to see it despite the reviews it's getting now. Personal constraints and hence cannot go. Will definitely wait to see it as soon as it is available online though.

@pallavi
I didn't say that salman fans hadn't blamed kabir. But Kabir and Salman was a superhit combo with two Blockbusters in their names so even if we consider that salman didn't read the script and trusted kabir its still understood since he had reasons.

But to say srk trusting Imtiaz and not reading the script then its completely SRK's fault because Imtiaz has not given a hit film since many years now so he had to be responsible enough to not trust the director completely.

And yes i bashed Tubelight too, it deserved it since people claimed salman can make anything work similarly i am blaming SRK since people are claiming that its totally Imtiaz who is at fault and SRK toh bacha hai ..

BOI has called this film niche so if you think this is justified then ok i will believe you that they don't favour srk. .
