Apparently, the producers of Toilet - Ek Prem Katha have resold the movie at higher hates after looking at the buzz and the tax free status being granted to them by various states... Akshay is also one of the producers (along with few others...)

The Reason why #ToiletEkPremKatha hv been Resold for a higher price is becoz- 1- film is Undoubtedly too hot 2- TAX free at 70% states

This kind of exposes the producers greed.

I am writing this only because the movie was RESOLD at a higher price...

Everybody makes movies for business and to make money but not everybody has a social message. Thi s has it. Toilets one of the most essential things that needs to be focussed on. Hope the message will reach rural areas too and there will be some improvement.

Yes, I understand that movies are made to make money and also agree on the essential need of Toilet...

But the way the movie is being promoted, it appears that the makes are doing this purely for charity... and hence was surprised with resell at higher value...

Also TEPK is the next movie which IF wants to flop😆(tumhari baat nahi kar raha hu btw).

dekho...agar movie ko commercial nahi banayenge...toh koi dekhega nahi...if they need to give a good social message then they need to make sure that people watch it otherwise kya fayada hua...I don't understand why the BW people are looked down upon for trying to earn profits when the whole world is doing the same...we all work for profits...ab agar social message ke saath profit bhi ho jaayega toh kya problem hai...Kudos to Akki to even dare to make a movie on this subject...it doesn't go with his macho image and yet he is taking the risk...so more power to him.

Bollywood or santh... nah!!! 😆 But some people want to be thought of as one and I am just trying to point out their hypocracy...

I want all movies to work. Why not? It benefits everyone... also if all movies flop then fan wars will also stop... entertainment will go for a toss 😉

Akshay Kumar says he is more interested in reaching out to people with his upcoming film, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, than garnering box-office business.

He says the distributor has applied for tax exemption for the film.

During the trailer launch of the film in Mumbai on Thursday, when the star was asked about revenues, Kumar said: "I am interested in more eyeballs than the box-office collection.

"In fact, I wish the ticket price of this film to be low so that more people can go and watch the film. Around 54 per cent people in our country have no access to toilets. So my concern is to make people aware of the issue. They should go and watch the film rather than [we] count on the box office collection.

Asked about a bid to make the film tax free, Kumar said: "So far there is no confirmation, but yes, the Viacom18 people [the distributors of the film] applied for tax exemption. Let's see what happens.

Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is about the importance of sanitation.

NOBODY does charity commercial movies in Bollywood. I never felt it was charity.
It is just another big movie but with the concept same as Indian Govt'sSwatch Bharat.

I clearly told, I am not talking about you. And why wil you engage in fan wars😆, especially with Akki. Tumhare fab aur Akki ka kiya relationship 😆.
But many left wings want TEPK to flop, because Akki is supported by BJP.
