Varun Dhawan not doing Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari's next!.

Varun Dhawan is picking and choosing his
films with caution and we can't say we
blame him as his films are proving to be
blockbusters at the box office. While most
actors would jump at the idea of even
working with Nitesh Tiwari (who has given
a blockbuster hit in Dangal), Varun has
quietly turned it down without any fuss.
Says an insider, "Varun heard the narration
of Nitesh's which is being produced by
Sidharth Roy Kapur. The film is reportedly
based on Varun Agarwal's debut novel, How
I Braved Anu Aunty And Started A Million
Dollar Company (2012), a true story set in
Bangalore about a 20-something guy who
wants to own a business but doesn't find
any takers and how he is thwarted by Anu
Aunty, his mother's best friend, in every
move. The 30-year-old author is an
entrepreneur and filmmaker too and co-
founded Alma Mater, which makes and
supplies customized sweat-shirts to alumni
in schools and colleges across India.
The source adds that film came across more
of a biopic to Varun Dhawan and he would
need to play is someone who is the same
age as him. "Varun studies the pros and
cons of each and every script that comes to
him and also felt that the coming-of-age
story did not have much commercial appeal.
While there was a message of hope, the
script was a bit dry as the novel was more
of a pep talk for all hopeful entrepreneurs
offering useful advice. It would be tough for
him to portray someone who was his own
age too. While Varun wants to do a biopic
he's clear about how the character should
be. He had turned down the biopic on
hockey legend last year.
Varun Dhawan doesn't deny that he's not a
part of Nitesh's film anymore but does not
wish to go into details of what happened.
He says briefly, "I'm really keen to work with
Nitish as he's a very good director. We have
discussed a couple of ideas and hopefully,
we will do something in the future.

Good decision! The movie sounds boring and Rocket Singh was also made with corporate background. People dont relate to these stories and dont appreciate it. He should stick to MTH/Judwa genre.

May be he will work with Nitesh some other time
He must have decided on that after thinking something

Other than that he is like doing around 4-5 movies at the moment? So obviously he have to drop couple of them

Good for him. We already saw what Rocket Singh did 😆 Varun is intelligent and knows exactly what sells. He has his entire career for sure-shot flop experiments like this, this is not the time. He shouldnt follow others' footsteps and deliver 5-6 back to back flops acting show karne ke chakkar mein 🤪 .
