Amit Kapoor is an Indian film and movie producer. Amit is the son of producer Shabnam Kapoor (his mother), who apparently launched Shahrukh Khan. His father is Mr Lalit Kapoor. Kapoors are a known family in film production and distribution. ( So yes he is a celeb)
