In Punjab loudspeakers are banned during Exams ... few years back when some ppl complained abt loudspeakers , SGPC itself made this rule ...no one takes any offence and calls it against Sikhism ... Muslims need to take some chill pill ...not everything is abt their religion ...
So much sensitivity abt everything , that's why it's so easy to brainwash them in the name of Jihaad ... ( No Offense , before ppl jump on me and call me anti Muslim 🤓 )

Yes. The simple solution is to follow the norms laid down by the government of your country and to hell with what anyone else thinks. If you feel that getting up at 5 is important you should. And it goes the same for someone who wants to stay awake till whatever time they want to do their prayers. But we should stop forcing our opinions on others. And also to not take what a celebrity says so seriously!! He is a celebrity not God. Why should his opinion matter to us so much.? We have many more other important issues in our life, don't we???

people who follow religion knows the timing of their prayer and those who don't should put reminder in their mobile.

I live in an area wherw hindus and muslims are almost equal in number.. temples at any cost don't put on loud speakers during exam months..but at mosques they put up even speeches on loudspeaker every friday and it's pretty disturbing.
Selective secularism !

Well, she is right. Loudspeakers, no matter for which religion they are used, are a nuisance.

Agreed MB... religion should not cause any sort of inconvenience to anyone... any religion...

For a few seconds of fame..?? Who wants this kind of fame? Truth is this issue has gotten big just because a celeb has tweeted about it. But we talk about it all the time - whether it's Azaan or Ganesh Arti.. we feel that religion should not cause undue stress on people not following it. I have a daughter who has to stay awake during Ganesh Chaturthi because she gets up with all the noise and I'm a Hindu. And I still feel that we as a country are progressing so well.. why can't we shed the coat of religion and be humans once and for all. Also we should stop communalising everything. The teeet was about loudspeakers not azaan. Mandir, masjid all included. Why can't we just accept someone's opinion as opinion and not create so much hooplah around it??

Diversity is our country strength and I'm not gonna like India without temple bells morning azaan and so on!
Will you also cancel Ganga ghat arti which is world famous?

Selective secularism- true. Never lived near religious buildings but during boards, gave exams at a school where there were temples, mosque and church nearby. Only heard the azaan, which during 12.30 was so louuud, we could almost feel the vibrations inside class lol. Couldn't concentrate on the paper at all those few minutes. I felt bad for the residents there who faced it daily, some improvements are needed to call the worshippers instead of disturbing the entire neighbourhood.

Yes I will. If it happens at 5 in the morning or 10 in the night. Truth is we are a diverse country and we can only remain diverse if we learn to respect each other's opinion. In fact I already have. I have a daughter who wakes up for every two hourly feeds. And ther is a Jain procession that happens at 6 am on every Sunday. And believe it or not.. she usually sleeps at 5 so I sleep at 530 and then It wakes her up again and she starts crying. It's a serious issue. Forget about her for a second.. there are people studying or elderly people who require sleeping pills and then wake up because of it. My point is you may or may not agree with sonus point of view. But why give it so much importance if you don't? It was a tweet for gods saje. Not a written law. Nobody was going to pay any attention to it if you didn't! Also does it really deserve the kind of backlash that he got.?? Just think about t for a second and tell me. Kya kya Nahin bola hain usko. If you don't believe me just open his account and see. And he is still getting it. I mean isn't it time we stopped?

Everyone has a right to their opinion. It only becomes an issue when media decides to play up on the hype and rile up sentiments and emotions of public. I am sure they have better content to publish then this. If any news person is reading this then I live near an Airport. The noise is really unbearable at times I propose a ban on Airplanes. Please spread the news.
