^^Ummm yes. It is for undergrad too. Lol. It's definitely common now. It isn't only the rich children though they Ofc, are in higher #

I guess we will just agree to disagree. :) I don't believe he financed his debut but like I said, at one point I used to.

He went to Indiana University .The tuition is $10,000 per semester .I came to US as an Undergrad student and my tuition per semester was $12,320 per semester. And I don't come from a rich family.
I have so many friends who have done the same and have studied in much expense universities.
Arguing for the sake of it with no logic whatsoever.

**DT NOTE: Name calling an actor/actress is considered bashing and is not allowed as it leads to fanwars**

This discussion is pointless when the ones doing the so called discussion are trying to deviate the attention from the recent flopbuster 😆.

Lol that's for in-state. Going by those numbers, out-of-state is at about $35,000.
Today's numbers since that is what you used.
Anyway this is not the point.

Ainviye hawa main baat nahin kar rahin hoon.

Edit: FYI that was 12 years ago for me .He graduated in 2007-08 means he must have paid similar amount.

Going abroad nowadays to study isn't a big deal- Education loans are meant to be availed by the middle class or even the UMC- I know tonnes of middle-class folks who have gone abroad to study, lol, so I wouldn't point that out as a sign of being "loaded"- Many do now & they don't have to be with money to do so. It also boils down to what we consider as "rich." Wealthy often= Multi-millionaire-old money, rich, very rich+ Builder, banker families. So Idk. He's definitely rich-really rich, that's not under dispute. What is, is that he financed his debut--- I don't believe that. That's all I am on.

MEB
I have read some where that buying a car in 80s was easy but education loan in 2000 is not easy 😆😆 Hate jo na kara de ... Buying a car in 80s not make you rich but in 2000 going to study abroad make you loaded rich ...😛😆

Ranveer is an outsider with all the priviledges of an insider 😆 he gate crashed Shanoo Sharma's party @ 17 and bang 7-8 yrs later she casts him 8n a YRF banner film, yea its a common thing and it happens to all outsiders 😆 being related to Anil gave him the advantage of knowing and m8ngl8ng with Bollywood folks and networking his way through to YRF. Ofcourse there were blinds about his dad financing his first film but since its Ranveer we'll treat this as rumor 😆. Ranveer is really unique ... since he is no star son, there are no humongous expectations from him or the pressure of being compared to a successful father or lineage yet being an insider he has enough connections to get good work with good directors.

35K a year so 140K for 4 years. In rupees, that's over 90 lakhs. That's not including books and other expenses living in another country causes.

And it's not even a top tier university that it's worth the cost. I don't think regular people would be willing to pay so much when there's nothing all that prestigious about it anyway. Only rich people would be willing. Unless getting an American degree, whichever college, means that much which I guess it might.
