She spoke at length over the controversy in a video and clarified there were no such demands from her and she understands a producer's constraint very well.

Between what they do and what they say there is a world. I get diva-ish vibes from her which is understandable seeing her history (both professional and personal) so I wouldn't have been surprised if it was true. But media also tends to make up stories to sell so it might as well be false.

I don't really know Sridevi because she was retired when I got into Bollywood.

There should be a regard for professional negotiations being kept private.

She can demand the moon and the director/producer can refuse to give in to demand they consider hideous but outing it in public like this is extremely unprofessional.

This Industry has worked on extra tickets and suites for the family since ages. Why the shock?

Don't know what exactly happened between Sri and SSR, but whatever it is if it prevented her from playing Shivagami, good I say.

Sri has her immense talents, but her weak, shrill sometimes little girl voice is not one of them. Ramya Krishnan with her authoritative voice was Shivagami. Sometimes the way circumstances work is indeed interesting.
