it was immigrant investor program which was closed in 2014, but just because people can invest that amount doesnt give them automatic permanent residency, there are certain criteria they need to fulfil. even after getting PR, they need to stay in canada for atleast 2-5 year to apply for actual citizenship which takes time to get approval.

Read the article and see. You don't need to stay there as a resident. Also Akshay got Canadian citizenship much before 2014. He himself said he is a citizen of Canada. Though he lied that he is an honorary citizen.

at last saw the song...rahatji did a fabulous job to such a iconic song...its beautiful...the lyrics are well written...

ajay's dialogue delivery is superb...his dialogues are going to be a hit...his intense and drowsy eyes that looks at illeana with love...its amazing...this man is good at romance in his own way n style...his eyes are intoxication...

illeana looks so gorgeous...i just love her styling

ajay-illeana shares a beautiful chemistry...

i only hate the ending...it was a misfit

reporter always try to put words in celeb mouth and they say something that becomes headline. He was appointed as brand ambassador for canada tourism for India and later he formed AD Techsulting Inc. with canadian short film director abhinav dubey, its just investment based visa which might be no longer valid. getting citizenship of any country is very difficult that too when the person isnt working/staying in that country and even if there is pending application it automatically gets revoked.

coming back on the topic where it started he hasnt given up citizenship so lets not drag aki in this topic and focus only on AD.

Don't know the technicalities but Akshay does have a Canadian passport.

Once again see the video a question was asked about his citizenship which he replied. No one put words into his mouth. If you want to close your eyes and ears to the truth that is your matter. I agree though we should stick to the topic. Wish you had spoken up when a member was asking me to shift to Pakistan instead of sticking to the topic.
