I knew that he would love JJ... Its a musical afterall.

I remember once he wrote an article about how Jaaneman and Saawariya flopped becausee BW audience dont care about musicals.😆

Edit- Another unusual favorite of BR is Jhoom Baraabar Jhoom.😕 After every Shaad Ali film release he cant seem to stop ranting about how underappreciated JBJ is and how Shaad Ali lost form after that. 😆

It was pretty much evident when he took an intvw of MR but I liked that intvw he went in detail discussing the technical aspects of his films...Yeah for Kaatru Veliyidai he gave 3 and half stars whereas most of the critics had panned the film 😆...

^^ I saw that IV too. I dont really mind his MR fixation. I mean yeah, its funny how he glorifies and tries to make sense of even the trashiest of his films but I get his feeling as a fellow MR fan 😆 He really is good when he is form and you keep hoping he goes back to making brilliant stuff 😆

About JJ, am planning to watch tomorrow.

OMG yes. Basu seems to have some kind of a fixation with the names Akash and Shruti 😆 Besides Love Story, there was an Akash in Gangster and Life in a Metro too. And Shruti of course in Life in a Metro, Barfi and now JJ. My favorite Akash is still MIshal from Love Story and Shruti is Ileana from Barfi 😆

Movie remind me of fan where they forgot you can have a bad start but you need to end a movie brilliant climax as people only remember the second half experience.

First half was going good ,it had everything beautiful scenes, a well done introduction of character, setting up the jagga detective skills,songs everything is going great and than second half happens, it nosedives ,crashes and burn.

Don't know why katrina get casted in these roles which don't require glamour and need acting skills.

Movie is too long,once the movie novelty wears off and first story is wrapped up, second half suffers.

Watchable for ranbir kapoor acting and role ofcourse.
