Jagga Jasoos Budget & Box Office Opening

Ranbir Kapoor's Jagga Jasoos saw its first day open at an average opening of 20-25% in morning shows and will depend on word of mouth and evening shows to hit a good opening day total.

Jagga Jasoos is strong in Top 5 metros with better opening than Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil but outside of the metros the start is slower

Trade Expectations from this movie is just 8-9 crore opening day with the hope of movie growing on word of mouth

Ideally a Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif movie should open in 15 Crore range but looking at trailers it can be made out that this is a more word of mouth movie.

Director Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor had made a 100 Crore grosser Barfi but that movie had a much lower budget than Jagga Jasoos.

Jagga Jasoos is made on a budget of Rs 75 Crores all inclusive and is a high budget venture

The cost of movie was brought down as both Ranbir Kapoor and director Anurag Basu are co producers in the movie and they have not taken a salary otherwise the cost would have gone above 100 Crores.

Production Cost: 60 Crores

Prints & Advertising Cost: 15 Crores
