So for those who follow the malayalam film industry, one of those most popular actors Dileep has been jailed for a crime committed by him (quotation for actress assault). He has been kicked out of the association of malayalam actors and has been disowned by fans too. Infact the restaurant owned by him has been broken apart by his own fans.

Kudos to the police of Kerala too. As per reports, not a single supporter was spotted outside the station. There's no blind faith.

Now drawing parallels to Bollywood, we have an actor who has physically abused his girlfriend, driven over people in a drunken state and shot an endangered animal and for none of these crimes has he been punished. Moreover, fans refuse to move over from their blind faith.

Why such a difference in the north and south? Dileep is also deeply connected to the mafia and he is also known as the 'public favorite'.

It will grow up when people will start to differentiate between real and reel lives of all these stalwarts but sadly that is not to be the case. Instead the power that be will target people like Vivek Oberoi just to maintain the status quo.

What's worse is an actor who was actively involved in terrorism having a successful career after that

BW stars have too much riding on them

They're paid staggering amount of salary and a staggering amount is invested in their movies

That might be the reason

Thta's not the case with Malayalam movie industry I believe

Malayalam movie industry is grounded in reality in their movies. They do separate fact from fiction. While they love their actors they do not hero worship them.

Kerala is different from rest of the country, in terms of literacy, social awareness and activisim. Well, relatively.

And surely, when the population is watching and would not let such things slide, the association of actors would also condemn/disown the actor.

We should also remember that actors in BW are said to be very powerful and very influential..

Yes I've heard that... Hero worship is prevalent in southern industry like Tamil, Telugu

Their stars become CMs atleast MPs, if they don't the fans pester them, temples are built for them but not so in Kerala

That's probably why there's less cash flow there than BW, KW, TW etc

Which actress filed a case for physical abuse? Kuch bhi they are nt filing case bcoz they are lying for publicity!

Here d actress spoke up n kerala police n our CM made sure she gets justice n Dileep is no less a superstar he is d second biggest actor in kerala after mammuka n lalettan n filthy rich too bt karma is a bitch n truth wins how much ever u try to hide it!

As for the accident case is still going if salman has really done it then i trust my country's law n god he will b punished jus like dileep!
