@Red: Agree with you here again! Indian movies are not made for Pakistan but one wants a Pakistani to work for them? Pakistan is such a big market for India and major contribution from overseas/gulf countries comes from Pakistan. So I dont get this rude comment from someone whenever they say 'Indian movies are made for Indians only'. That is utter nonsense and even Indian Directors will disagree with that. You yourself sound hypocrite when you hate Pakistanis at one place make such sweeping and rude statements and want their actor to work for you!

@Blue: Thank you again for putting this so eloquently! Thats what I ve been saying! I am a researcher myself and collaborating with many Indians on my research. We read their articles give them feedback and even recommend some of the books written by Indian Professors in our Universities. That doesnt mean I should go and start doing job over there or attend some conference even for the sake of my profession. Using their commodity with our own money and forcefully and shamefully working there when you are not desired are 2 separate issues. Again no one stopped Fawad not to watch Indian films!! How does it become different criteria?

For the fellas who are indirectly hinting at some butthurt fan who is angry with Fawad for not working with his/her fav actress, if that someone is supposed to be me then let me disappoint you I have no fav actress from anywhere in the world. 😆 Sorry to burst your bubble but Mahira is not my fav actress and I actually feel sorry for her now as now I get why the thread where pics of Ranbir and her were posted was bumped by Fawad fans alot and they posted many conspiracy theories about her maligning her image and calling her names 😆 I dont care whoever fawad works with or not I am not that shallow to change my loyalties for that neither he was called Anti National for working in Indian movies. @Green: Really? How has Fawad proved his maturity and that he learnt his lesson? Any credible quote from him apart from opinion of self, family members or friends?

@Red: You can say an Indian movie is made for Pakistan only if the protagonist is Pakistani and made from the Pakistani POV. Name me one movie such movie. There have been movies like VZ, BB where one of the main characters was a Pakistani but the protagonist was an Indian character and story told from his POV.

What BW folks are interested in is your money which you guys willingly part with since you are so crazy about BW films. The most recent example is star-father insulting Pakistanis while Pakistani members going gaga over the son who btw didnt apologize for his father's behavior.

And yes Indian directors and actors will never tell you all this...you need to get it yourself. If you can get it that is.

@Blue: First as an audience stop watching Indian movies. Give stars like Shaan the confidence that you will watch him no matter what. But here we have poor the poor guy who is patriotic having to get Tubelight banned so that his audience turn up to watch his films.

The criteria for every profession is different. Army men for instance never might have to travel out of the country. While an IT professional's resume and career is incomplete without working at client locations abroad. For an artist its important his work reaches most people. Now if the people of his country are crazy about the art and artists of another country he has no choice but to look elsewhere. Recently Saba Qamar also spoke about how she was ignored at awards all these years and now that she has 'Bollywood stamp she got nominated.

@Regarding Mahira: A gulity mind is always conscious. So what made you think the post was intended for you?

Anyway you just proved the poster right that you are one butthurt Mahira fan. You are happy now as Fawad is working with Mahira for MJ. Now tomorrow if he works with another Pakistani actress like Maya Ali or Sanam Baloch for instance you will be back to trashing him at the insult he meted out to Mahira by not licking her feet all the time.

Btw Mahira appi also followed the same strategy of not doing Pakistani films. HMJ and the BRA were signed before she signed Raees. After she signed Raees she was waiting for her BW debut. After Uri attacks when she realized BW's doors are shut then she signed Verna, MJ and another film. So why this double standards and hating Fawad for one thing and being silent when Mahira does the same?

You are right. There were blinds about it... could be true. Ever wondered why only outsiders turn alcoholic and big headed??? The same is being said about SSR now... thankfully his last film flopped and he will now be spared the torture for the time being and people will talk how one flop brought him back to ground...

We have not got an outsider as a star after SRK which was 25 years ago... rest all - the other two khans, Hrithik, Ajay, Shahid, Varun, Saif, Arjun, Tiger etc are all insiders from Bollywood.

Certainly we can see the good status Bollywood is in now. And in safe hands...

Yes I am certainly not right to equate China with Pakistan. Smart Indians know that the colonial master is more dangerous than the colonial slave. Its only fools who look at short term.
