2. Indian movies are indeed made for us. If not then Bollywood should stop putting movies in cinemas in Pakistan. In Karachi I have seen multiple movies running in 10 cinemas. Please do not pass such a comment without street knowledge. Bollywood would not like to make itself Indian only..It is an industry not some exclusive fanatic Pakistan hating parivaar

3. We do not watch movies of stars who speak against our country. I dont give a dollar to them. Dont worry..we are intelligent enough to realize that.. However rest of the people I dont discriminate against.

4. Difference between Fawad and Hippo is following

a- I did not go to India to work, to make money. I have never even seen that country. It has nothing to do with my real life as in job, education, money etc.

b- The good example is USA. And here I am feel wanted and no one behaves bad (at least on face). Now if things changes and this country becomes for me what India has become for Pakistanis then sure I will leave.

c- Bollywood is a commodity. They sell their products to us and we are consumers. By your logic I should stop going to local Indian store also. The issue of self respect does not arise.

d- Fawad is active. He was going extra step and wanting work. So he or others like him should show respect and not go there when there are goons and badmassh people abusing them. Simple. He did that I agree. Now I want others to stop

In conclusion do not compare members here posting to stars working in bollywood. here we are welcomed and there is no one stopping us. If you go to Pakistan newspapers like DAWN 70% of comments there are of Indians. Why are they there?

So dont give this logic again.

I, Hippopotamus, stand by my earlier comment of asking Pakistani artists to stop working in Bollywood unless and until things improve and one feels wanted. We audience are wanted and hence Bollywood producers putting their movies in Pakistani cinemas.

@Green:thats actually I have was referring to in one of my posts when I said that things have changed since October 2016. Fawad looked like a desperate one when he was making himself exclusive for Indian Cinema. Now he is back and have learnt his lesson and sounds mature.

@Red: Agree with you here again! Indian movies are not made for Pakistan but one wants a Pakistani to work for them? Pakistan is such a big market for India and major contribution from overseas/gulf countries comes from Pakistan. So I dont get this rude comment from someone whenever they say 'Indian movies are made for Indians only'. That is utter nonsense and even Indian Directors will disagree with that. You yourself sound hypocrite when you hate Pakistanis at one place make such sweeping and rude statements and want their actor to work for you!

@Blue: Thank you again for putting this so eloquently! Thats what I ve been saying! I am a researcher myself and collaborating with many Indians on my research. We read their articles give them feedback and even recommend some of the books written by Indian Professors in our Universities. That doesnt mean I should go and start doing job over there or attend some conference even for the sake of my profession. Using their commodity with our own money and forcefully and shamefully working there when you are not desired are 2 separate issues. Again no one stopped Fawad not to watch Indian films!! How does it become different criteria?

Uri attack and nationalist propaganda was dream I guess. ADHM was first movie to be released after that attack. So that was going to be most affected. It was a big movie considering KJO was the director and took the brunt. I guess no one wants to digest the fact that theaters did get vandalized.

It is Fawad's misfortune that he was in that movie. If not for that co-incidence, he could gone under radar like many other actors. Nobody targeted him because he was threat but because he was at wrong place at wrong time. But iss 2 Rs troll koh kaun samjaye... 😆

We don't have any prob with non east Indian and immigrants and would love to see them in our states but main prob is those immigrants who are burden on us and their sole intention is to change the demography and those who believes in Sharia law.

North east Indians are working in every major city of India but you don't see them as tuk tuk driver or working as cheap labour and we expect the same with other states people.

i never said that the north east does not want trains ... i was talking about the special permits required to enter the area and how the locals are very strict about it as they are afraid that the population dynamics (or demography as you correctly said) might change.

and as an example i said that a train launched was suspended for the same reason

this is the naharlagun train which was suspended after just 31 days of operation because of the permit issue.
