Neha is the queen now - bear in mind though now most female singers are being used either for item/dance numbers or secondary backing to a male vocal or situational songs. I really find now,most of the songs put out now have a heavy focus on male singers.

Like when Arijit sings, the female singer most of the time is used as a back up to him. This is really sad, we need more songs and opportunities being given to female playback singers!

None of these above songs featured Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Neha Kakkar not it happens to be any sort item songs and neither did it make singing most bit where actually these singers dominated the songs and made it a success whether commercially or critically and all released with last 6 years

once established singers tries to go pricey ..bt they forget that they
are not irreplaceable

Palak isn't as high pitched as Shreya but yes they sound similar.

Palak has pretty much replaced Shreya in most songs and Monali took all her critically acclaimed songs

I love Palak Muchal. She is a beautiful singer. I love her voice more than Shreya's which tends to be really pitched at times.

she is getting songs... this gem is one of her most recent ones

I do miss shreya... She does get work as she also sings lots of regional songs. I loved her song atach baya ka from Sairat. I must say her pronunciation in marathi is really good. And shes also singing for movies like padmavati..
