I miss Sunidhi Chauhan. She doesn't get that much work these days either.

Shreya still gets much work, not in just Bollywood, but in other regional industries also. well yes new singers are making their way in Bollywood. Monali thakur, Palak Mucchal really sing well. Palak has very sweet voice, I found her very similar to Shreya. Everytime I listen Palak's songs I misunderstood those for Shreya. later I check the details then get to know that it's not Shreya. for example Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo title track, for many days I used to think it's Shreya 😛 then neha kakkar also has very catchy voice. and ajkal toh actors bhi gaana gaane laga hai

Shreya Goshal sings regularly in South Industries. She has songs even this year. So I do think she gets work.

Why are people mentioning Neha Kakkar. Neha sings different types of songs then Shreya. Neha is more Sunidhi like, known for her fun, upbeat songs.

I would say Palak Muchal and Monali are the two who are taking songs that would've been sung by Shreya or Alka few years ago. Even Tulsi sings those types of songs. Not a big fan of her.

I think there are many reasons why Shreya is singing less songs. The music industry has completely changed in recent times.

1. The music directors like to experiment and try different things and they feel more comfortable recording with new artists because it's easier to cut them out if things go wrong.

2. Another reason is many movies have multiple music directors and these new directors work with new artists.

3. There are a LOT of new upcoming artists who directors are working with more and more. Jasleen Royal, Neha Kakkar, Neha Bhasin, Neeti Mohan, Aditi Singh Sharma, Jonita Gandhi, Palak Muchal, Monali Thakur, Harshdeep Kaur, Bhoomi Trivedi, Kanika Singh, Sasha Tirupati. These are just the ones I can remember.

4. Actresses like Alia, Shraddha, Pari, Sona want to sing their own songs now.

5. The listeners have also changed. A decade ago you couldn't find a single person who didn't like voices like Shreya's. That was the ideal voice, sweet, thin, high-pitched voice. Now you will find many people who don't like shrill voices. They want modern, and different. They want variety. Now it doesn't matter if it is a Shreya song or not, as long as it goes with the movie.

it's not Like that we r comparing Monali, Palak with Shreya and Neha with Sunidhi. we r just mentioning some good singers of current time

Shreya and Palak Muchchal voices are very similar
Palak is getting more songs than Shreya now
Other than this not sure if Shreya had any disagreement with any music company

Monali Thakur with Sawaar Loon, Moh Moh Ke Daage, Zara Zara Touch Me, Cham Cham, Anjaana Anjaani, Khwab Dekhe, Aga Bai, Badri Ki Dulhania

And

Palak Muchhal with Kaun Tujhe, Chahun Main Ya Na, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Jab Tum Chaaho, Kaabil Hoon, Meri Aashiqui, Jumme Ki Raat, Laapata, Tu Hai Aashiqui, Hamdard

Have sung as good if not better than Shreya who charges heaps for being a senior
