I will give a little credit where its due here. The film looks great visually, and Ranbir is good in acting, everyone knows that. Don't think I could stomach him stammering and singing constantly just to "talk." Hopefully, it isn't to the point where it's annoying.

The biggest downfall would be the interest people have of it being a musical. I don't like them but to each their own. The story might not be put together well initially, and the fact that the leads don't even look the part.

I want to say also, why is Kat there? She adds nothing to the film, as most of her films. Her accents sounds terrible.

- Overall I like suspense movies but this is not about my likes as my likes have been disaster on BO

- I think problem with this movies seems to be disney theme. They are trying to present 35 year olds as Harry potter or disney character with all the colors etc. Usually such movies look good on teenagers

- Then add Katrina of all people as Disney girl..I mean she is looking like teacher of RK and is not blending in.

- Story seems interesting but in clownish setting of Disney it is a hit or miss

- Key factor would be children. Will they push parents to see this movie and add 30-40 crores..if not then this can be less than 100 crore.

- At most it will be 150 crore..I dont see any 200+ potential

But its about connecting..if it did not then embrace for 50 crores lol

Also you need to keep in mind, Katrina is playing an character older than Jagga who happens to be a journalist. So there's definitely something to consider.

I am kind of curious about this movie and so glad that Bollywood is experimenting. The visuals look fantastic, the tin tin vibe is overpowering. If they make it relatable, I don't see any reason why it should not succeed. The only apprehensions like with every movie would be - if the acting overall is good and the story relatable.

The trailer and music are not as impressive as Barfi.Yet I would have given a chance if they had taken Ileana or even Anu for the 10th time instead of Kat ruins the whole appeal.
