As usual shitty excuses from salman fan site.
"the prices paid by the all India distributors who will loose around 70% of their investments."

So indirectly they also agree with "distributors ki laashen bich gayi"

But still trying to put all the blame on Kabir. Not on Salman whose constipated act is the main reason of downfall of the movie. Some other actor (Aamir, Ranveer etc) in the role would have turned the tide. May be not great but not a joke level performance which most people/critics are complaining. The blame should be put on both and not only Kabir. Blockbuster hua to Salman hi salman...flop/disaster hua to Kabir...waah re waah

Boi is sick, they're sucking flop bhai's ass now just to make sure that nobody can question his stardom. Every thing is not kabir's fault because Bhai has sold crappier films with zero story before, so now why is it kabir's fault?
Moreover this fllm will lose 70 percent of the investment, now Bhai fans should accept that since 1997 tubeligt is the biggest disaster in Bollywood, surpassed every thing

The film is not a box office financial disaster like a Broken Horses, Bombay Velvet, Rock On 2 as the profits in the producers book far outweigh the loss of the distributors. The film was made for 61 crore production budget without fee of male lead Salman Khan and 22 promotion and advertising costs. But the huge problem is the expectations from the film and the prices paid by the all India distributors who will loose around 70% of their investments. The prices paid are crazy as this sort of money is a huge risk with any film and not just Tubelight. The film reminds of Mrityudaata (1997) which also fetched record prices and then lost 70% of its investment. That film was a box office disaster as there was no back up from television and digital rights at that time.

@Red - Someone please explain this to me. Isn't Distributor profit a true measure of BO success on BOI?
So what if Producers earned money? As long as Distributors lost their investment, movie is a flop.

Infact it is criminal that Producers earn profits and leave the Distributors face all risk of business.

Don't expect honesty from a fan site...there will be more excuses articles in the coming days and months from BOI

Indirectly they have also agreed to Distributor losses😆. Even BOI can't deny this !! Imagine the scale of losses that they are not able to defend it.

as bhai fans believe BOI, so they confirm that 70% of the investments has been lost, which is as humongous as that 1997 film. BOI does not want to blame bhai that is another thing, but if Ranbir is responsible for BV's losses, SRK is responsible for Fan's losses, Hrithik is responsible for Mohenjodaro's losses (with a clash here), then Bhai is no koi mil gaya ka jadoo who is not responsible for the fate of tubelight.

How conveniently BOI and Bhai has put kabir under the bus, its shameful, moreover as i said the movie is sold on the star power and not on the director's vision, Bhai should come to the media and save kabir.

Logic ki umeed na karein... Producers toh profit har tuchchi film pe bhi kamaate hain... After selling the film and its various rights, very few films make losses... Jab bhi loss ki baat hoti hai then its only the distributer losses that matter... Except jab baat bhai ki ho...
.

... Yeh pehli filmon mein kamaye hain toh ek film mein loss ho gaya toh kya type ke excuses are not valid for other actors.

Distributors going on making losses including big films will mean less and less films will actually release in cinemas and they will probably go straight to Netfilx/Amazon.
