Yeah, I didn't even know about his retirement match, I woke up early in the morning (just like I used to every year before 2015) just to see Taker's match. I had expected a much better and bigger sendoff match, but yea what's new in this Vince has had always used him and then threw him away after benefit, he's always been like that, this is how he treated his most loyal worker. But, DAMN Taker is Taker. No wonder he's the GOAT, glad to see fans are still so much emotionally connected to him and worships as the godfather and has given him a godly status. He saved the show post MV. His send-off was so darn beautiful and heartbreaking actually he made it, his actions were enough to bring tear into everyone's eyes, not only I cried (was upset for almost 2 weeks & watched his old segments) seeing my childhood hero retiring, felt like a huge part of me died that day, can never explain that feeling and how much he meant to me throughout my childhood. I'm sure he's gonna make everyone cry again during his HOF induction speech.😔

Oh BTW Him vs Sting was always the dream match I wanted to see but it never happened also even though I don't like Cena but wanted Taker's retirement match against Cena in an icon vs icon at WM. 🤔

BTW, whom do you consider as the greatest of all time (not asking who's your most favorite, like I love Edge, Jericho and Punk etc they're my personal favs but not GOATs).

Well Honestly According to me greatest of all time is The Rock but Undertaker is in a league of his own he cannot be compared with anyone. His DeadMan gimmick is by far the best in WWE. BTW since you're a big taker fan you should know His streak was always meant to end infact Undertaker himself wanted to end it someday. You won't believe but Randy Orton was the original choice to end the streak but he refused stating he Respects Taker alot😳 Infact no wrestler in WWE wanted to win over taker at WM it was Brock who agreed and Finally the streak was over😭 i remember i read all this in some IV.

Yeah! that's what I've always said, Taker is in a different league altogether, I don't really feel like comparing him with anyone he's pro-wrestling & the embodiment of what we love everything about wrestling, he got me into it, Taker's popularity was always phenomenal especially in the subcontinent countries. The first ever PPV I watched that was Wrestlemania XX when he returned as the legendary deadman, and instantly became his fan. Only person apart from Taker, who I think totally deserves the GOAT title or is a strong candidate for the title that's Shawn, he's my 2nd most favorite so yea.

I actually like The Rock. He's amazing on the pic. more than that I respect him because of his off-screen persona, he's never played backstage politics or did asslicking to get into the top, or tried to sabotage anyone's career, never refused to do a feud with anyone, put over so many wrestlers that too clean even then when he was the No.1 Superstar unlike that wifebeater SCSA, I know he's considered as one of the all time greats, WWE's Top 3 but he never appealed to me, never got the hype around him, have always found him overrated in every aspect, Infact his popularity is also way too much exaggerated. He doesn't have legion of fans all over the world neither he's a household name worldwide like Undertaker or Hulk Hogan or even The Rock/Cena etc, they've hyped him way too much he's supremely popular in U.S. that's it. outside North America no one knows him besides wrestling fans. Even on mic too he could never cut a long yet entertaining promo like The Rock or Chris Jericho or Paul Heyman or Punk IMO ofcourse. Also his voice is so unclear.

Yea, I'm aware of the streak ending even Kurt Angle refused to end it, HBK, Foley, SCSA, Flair every biggest names of the company have had said the streak ending should have never been happened. I know streaks are meant to be broken, but since Taker should've lost only once in WM not twice the second loss was bit disrespectful, Taker was a locker room leader but never used his power to win 14-15 world titles or buried his contemporaries or younger talents like Hunter, so they should've let him keep the streak intact until his last WM match.

They had plans for Taker vs Cena last year but Cena had injury otherwise last year Taker was about to retire in his hometown. Also, Cena could've handled it much better than Reigns, actually I don't even hate him, I just feel bad for him. 😆 Vince is actually ruining his career, also he's at this point I think even a heel turn won't do any good for him. They totally despise the character its not a heel heat, he's a rejected a baby-face, have you watched the unedited clip of Raw After Mania on YouTube! It was epic, not even a single heel in last 2 decades has ever received this kind of reaction, I know retiring Taker will always be a big thing, fans will hate on that's why I wanted Cena in his retirement match, because it'd have been a perfect time for him to turn into a heel, his gimmick has become so stale it'd have helped him. On top of that fans would've been emotionally invested in the match because the match itself would've been so epic irrespective of the match quality pretty much like Rock vs Hogan at WM X-8.

^ Regarding the Sting vs Taker match it'd have been the most hyped match of all time. Two of the biggest legends of their respective company battling at the grandest stage of em all that feeling is undescribable. When Sting came to WWE I thought that Him vs Taker will happen at WN31 but yet again HHH included himself in a feud wth Sting to boost his ego by defeating him. Actually, I wanted this match to happen few years ago when Undertaker was in his peak, when he was giving classic after classic, around 2006-09 he was by far the greatest wrestler on the earth in terms of match quality. Also, I don't like the fact lots of people underrates Taker's in-ring ability, they give all the credits to his gimmick, that he was given an amazing gimmick from the start which is wrong because from 90-95 he was pitted against untalented giants like King Kong Bundy, Giant Gonzalez etc how'd anyone bring out a good match from them, but stil those matches were passable, also in that period his gimmick was of an undead zombie who can't sell moves, always stalks, still so agile, fast and enigmatic. At that time he was truly a gimmick wrestler and he played it flawlessly. Vince has had created so many larger than life gimmicks but all of them failed except Taker. NO ONE ever thought that it'd last THIS long, still on top for decades, generations, so beloved/respected & most over wrestler ever. Its a testament to his sheer talent that he turned a ridiculous gimmick (on paper) into the most legendary gimmick ever.

Oh BTW have you seen the kind of reception Taker received on social sites/media for whole 1 week/month after his retirement, it was
un-f**king-imaginable.

Still many SCSA/Rock marks claim Taker doesn't belong to mount Rushmore or isn't on par with them or on their level. 😆 Also, those people who say he is/was nothing without the streak are absolutely lost case but I do agree that the streak thing has played a major part in making Taker what he's today. That's why I didn't like the way the streak ending was booked especially Brock he didn't deserve at all.


BTW, I don't know if they're lying or its true I've been on many wrestling forums, so there most of the Taker haters are like He's not much popular in U.S. or even a household name despite the fact that he's been wrestling and on top for past 27 years, I really don't know how's that possible! 😲 The guy who's a global icon/phenomenon all over the world, most recognizable & popular star & household name isn't that popular in North America. 🤔

Anyway, sorry for the long essay I can't stop myself when I start writing about him, I've idolized him ever since I started watching wrestling around 2004, he's extremely special to me. 😛

BTW, you should watch this (if you haven't) edition of full episode Legends with JBL. SCSA, HBK, HHH were invited to celebrate Taker's 25 glorious years. ⭐️

Yup i know Shawn is considered to be the greatest of all time but i don't like him at all because of the backstage politics he played. He was such an asshole during his time🤢 Refused to lose matches and dropping titles. Who can forget the Montreal Screwjob? Such an arrogant Prick he was😡 No wonder i never liked him. As for Roman Reigns i swear i have never seen a wrestler getting this negative response from Crowd like ever. Crowd totally Owned him at Raw after Mania. I won't lie but that segment was hilarious🤣 Those Chants ROFL🤣 it's better if they Turn Roman Heel forever because i highly doubt he will ever receive a positive reaction. The main reason people boo him is because WWE went out of the line to promote him as their next top star. It's better if they focus on other stars like Finn Balor and seth Rollins because trust me they are extremely popular with the crowd. But WWE sucks they completely ruined Balor's career. He didn't even got his rematch for universal title after returning from injury.🤬

Nah. HBK is definitely considered ONE of the all time greats not the greatest ever, Even tho WWE was promoting him as the GOAT from 2009 to the end of an era match. Taker kept referring as the GOAT during their segments. But, they've always claimed him to be the greatest in-ring performer.

HBK was an ass for sure from '96-'97 😆 but he was a changed man ever since he returned in 2002. He did make Bret's life hell, pissed the shit outta him who's one of my all time favorites as well. Ric Flair was also an asshole.

BUT, None can surpass HHH (he's worse than Hogan) in being the biggest asshole/douchebag. 🤬 All the backstage politics, asslicking, burying every other superior talent who seemed like a threat to him, he was so jealous & insecure of everyone, even The Rock, tried to sabotage his career, always wanted to surpass him, and you know what he was in the booking committee of their company in just 1 year after his debut.That guy who had jobbed to Ultimate Warrior in 6 seconds, used to carry Shawn's bag, he'd have been a Nobody today if he hadn't dated/married Stephanie. Then what he did to Booker T was really SHAMEFUL. 😲 Jim Cornette was so correct about him that HHH is the person who works with the DRAW, he's not a draw that's why he always worked with the Top guys, added himself feuds where he had no business whatsoever. then you know what they had plans for a rematch at Wrestlemania 23 HHH vs Cena and Hunter would win the match :/ but he didn't get the shot at the title because he was out of injury, just like that when he saw The Streak had almost become mythical, he had two shots at Streak in a row, total he had 3 matches against Taker at WM & I don't even wanna talk his actions, role and behavior from '11 to present day. My god even after having a great career that guy is so hungry to hog all the limelight & focus by adding himself into every storylines either by hook or crook. You know what's so shocking is that The Rock has never won a WWE championship ever at Wrestlemania in his entire career. 😲 Lost to Austin both in WM X-7 & X8, then to Cena at WM29. Then Wrestlemania XVI. He should've definitely gone over HHH. I think that was the first time at Wrestlemania's history A heel gone over the Face. That's why I like The Rock. He's not selfish, still he's considered as one of the greatest all time. 😃

Regarding the bold part, trust me Roman's push is nothing infront of Austin/Hogan's push and I don't even wanna mention Brock's monstrous megs-push no one in the history has ever gotten a push as big as Brock. 🤢

I've heard good things about Finn Balor, but never watched him wrestling so can't say about him. But, honestly be it Seth Rolins or any other younger talent don't have "IT" factor or have charisma like the yesteryear legends, this is why WWE is failing to create big superstars, fans aren't accepting them, that's why WWE is still reliable on previous era's legendary superstars for high ratings or PPV buyrates and can't make crossover impact. Like, Daniel Bryan despite being so incredibly over with the crowd failed to draw, PPV buyrates & ratings decreased heavily. Also, WWE's product quality has gone from bad to worse since PG era, don't even want to talk about current era. Most of the Attitude Era & Ruthless Aggression era's fans have had stopped watching WWE. During PG their product was still decent due to match qualities. They need to bring back the brutality in segments & matches.

Anyways, tell me one thing from when did the fans turned so much against Roman? they're sooo bitter towards him. 😆 I had read in many sites that Roman used to be a fan favorite but it was when WWE started promoting him as the face by replacing D-Bry from then fans started loathing him. Some people are like fans started hating & booing him heavily ever since he eliminated Bryan in the Royal Royal, don't know which year, since I've stopped watching WWE or even PPV's regularly ever since Wrestlemania XXX when Taker's streak was broken. BTW, sorry in advance if you're fan of D-Bryan but for me he's the most overhyped & overrated wrestler in recent years, can't stand him at all so irritating, boring, bland, uncharismatic, unentertaining, never bought his so called
in-ring technical skills or his underdog story. 🥱 and TBH his fans are f**king annoying & deluded. They treat, I should say they worship him as if he's some kind of God, the best thing has had ever happened to pro-wrestling since sliced bread, some even went onto say that he's better than Undertaker/The Rock/HBK/SCSA combined. 🤣
