I think I have mentioned several times in past that one of my good friends owns a single screen here in my city. I met him today at a social and discussed briefly about Tubelight.
He said that the industry is still not realizing how bad it has become. It's the movie likes Tubelight from which you expect the other looses to get covered. If these kinds of movies start making losses, then there is nothing remaining for us.

He was like at the top they all will be making money. Salman Khan has already made insane money from Tubelight and this no show won't matter to him, but it is the distributors, exhibitors, etc who will have to suffer.

Upar walon ko kabhi phark nahin padhta... There was some article how farhaan akhtar's production house always makes money no matter how flop their film is... And everyone else loses when dealing with FA

One of my cuz owned a small theater in a small town... He bought that stupid saif movie with amisha - lazy lamhe wali... That flopped and the film after that one flopped too and he was mired in debt... Just bec 2 films flopped..

The compensation scheme of actors is completely out of touch with ground reality

Why are the stars so overpaid at the detriment of the whole industry

Recently we heard about several production houses going bankrupt bcz of star salaries

Their Greed ruining the industry.

Movie theaters are like typewriters. A relic of the past. These people should rebuild them as malls or something.

Also in case of Tubelight Salman should return money like SRK returned DW distributors money. That is the honorable thing to do.

Star salaries, nepotism, emphasis on promotion rather than quality, piracy, movies officially releasing on YT and TV, etc. To top it all, insane entertainment tax.

=)) 🤣

You never call him / meet him or whatever if Salman's films are BLOCKBUSTER or ATBB like Bajrangi Bhaijaan / Sultan??

Distributor share of

BB = 162 Cr

Sultan = 158 Cr

PRDP = 106 Cr

KICK = 114 Cr

ETT = 106 Cr

Jitna Salman ka DS hai, utna kuch films ka LIFETIME TOTAL bhi nahi hota... Tujhe bash karne ko FLOP mil hi gayi hai... kamsekamm dhang se toh bash karle =)) 😆

Have u contact ur friend when

- Fan FLOPPED

- 3 Semi-Hit happened - Dilwale / Dear Zindagi / Raees

How much losses occured, ab ye na kehna koi nahi, coz verdict HIT ho jaata 😆

NOTE: This is for those Srk fans claiming Salman fans only bash, i throw BO numbers, when this kind of instigating bashing threads banengi jawaab milega waisa hi.

Shopping malls are dying too. Several malls were closed in the last decade and even more closings are expected, but this is in America

Except for CE / HNY, All SRK Films have incurred losses, those 4 hit films - Ra.One, Don 2, JTHJ, MNIK were also having sub-level losses.

Only DW ke time pe kuch Distirbutor ko wapis hua tha, not all... Salman's 1st film this decade which has given LOSS, with previous 10 films he has given profit in excess.

I won't mind if Salman bhai does that if someone has loss majorly, but don't make it HONOR thing, when in PROFIT of those 10 FILMS, no distributor shared it with Salman.
