Basically every time they gave an ATG you attributed it to ticket prices. In reality every one raises ticket prices if they think people will pay.
Coming to rooting for stars I don't see anything wrong. I have seen you root for Varun and Tiger recently. I have been dissatisfied with SRK films so I can't blindly root for something I don't like. I do root for other stars films including SRK'S rivals films if they appeal to me.

Good characters ka hoga nahi.. jab tak their movies as heroes work. chalna band ho gai and they might move on to old character roles.

Yeh log jab young the.. they used to play Papa. Srk in KKHH, Sallu in Jab Pyar kisi se and Amir in Akele hum akele tum.

Ab dekho.. 50 ke ho gaye.. only Amir played Dad in Dangal. So benefit of doubt to him.

Baki 2 toh.. uchhal kud rahe hai. Which we have already seen them do for 25 years. Movies flop ho to shayad kuch akal aaye. 😆

kaunsa benefit...in 90's he had hits but not at the scale of Sunny or SRK...toh kaunsa hibernation...

badak kyun rahi ho 😆...abhi achha chal raha hai toh hone do yaar...waise don't care much abt stardom but when his good movies get universal acclaim toh achha lagtha hai...one of my favs DDL has retired from acting,don't want Aamir to do that...

it's not necessary that playing older chars means playing papa chars onscreen look at bhai in real 😆...

waise none of the younger lot played dad onscreen Biru,Veer?
