This movie has SRK's signature act back (Loverboy) plus is a rom com. Should work and should garner amazing response in BO.
Looks like a winner to me. His fans should be relieved at this point. 😃

No. SRK has been off this race for quite a while now. I guess he knows that too deep down. He's past his prime and continuous bad scripts don't help either! Man people are not really interested in his movies anymore because they have been disappointed for the last few years at a stretch.

I guess now that the pressure of being the best has been eased on him, he should focus on movies which will explore his acting potential. Try out different genres and exciting, new directors. Some of Big B's phenomenal movies came about when he was done as a mainstream commercial hero. He might seek some inspiration from him!

SRK is not the same like his MNIK, Ra One, Don 2 and JTHJ days. He has lost the trust of neutral audience because of his crappy movies. Not to forget, Ra One, Don 2 and JTHJ were released in Holidays in opening weekends JHMS is getting the one Holiday of Raksha Bandhan, but such type of holidays hardly benefit good movies at Box office.
The mini trailers of JHMS are looking stale and failing to create any hype. If the trailer also gets the same response then the neutral audience will not come to watch the movie on opening day. Only on fan power, movie can't be a Hit. If the movie is crap, it'll get Semi-Hit/ Above Average verdict because of solo release. If Akki comes on 4th August, JHMS will end up becoming a Flop.

JHMS Budget should not exceed more than 90 Cr, else Srk has tried adding somethings for bigger look of feel, it shouldn't cross 100 Cr.

1 more thing which might drop film's verdict to Semi-Hit is SRK's wish to sell this film on higher rates, if he did that, then stakes for HIT Verdict will raise & he won't catch up in 2nd week clash with akki.
