MK's photo is from 1942 a Love Story as Rekhaji said.

In Lajja, she had short hair. And Lajja also released in 2001 so that can't be in 90s pictures. My bad.

I don't think it's got strict rules, as Twinkle's Mela released in 2000.

And also, Bina Rai is in the 60s/70s pic but she was mostly active in the 50s - she debuted in 1951. Her contemporaries are Nutan, Meena, Nargis, Madhubala etc.

Sonali was nominated Best Actress for Sarfarosh @ IIFA too 😲 - no idea what the criteria is/was. The rest of the nominees: Aishwarya/Kajol/Karisma were nominated at Filmfare too, with the addition of Tabu. But IIFA thought Sonali was more deserving, bye.

No. The artist Greg Fernandez did these paintings as a tribute to the original and the original had only female musicians from different parts of the country :)
