Deepika Padukone in 'Badlapur 2'?.

Deepika Padukone has done a variety of
roles in her career but never stepped
into a negative character as yet. It's
being said however that this could
happen if she signs Badlapur 2'.
A second instalment of the Varun
Dhawan starrer has been announced
and it seems Padukone might be
stepping into the leading role. The film is
only in its starting stages but it
Bollywood Hungama reports that makers
are keen to have Padukone aboard. With
producer Dinesh Vijan's close
relationship with the actress, it's no
surprise that she's the first choice.
A source told DNA, "A sequel to Badlapur,
with a female protagonist and a
completely new cast, is being planned.
Dinesh has bounced the idea off to
Deepika and she has loved it. It's a
character-driven role, just like Varun's
was in Badlapur. The script isn't ready
yet and once that's done, the producer
will give the actress a full narration and
get her dates blocked for the film.

It'll be so awesome if indeed plays a grey role like that of Varun's. I loved Badlapur plus DP really needs to do sth other than SLB movies.
