I agree. Being happy on the outside doesn't always mean shit. And no one means it in a bad way, everyone is yearning for something in life and in DPs case it seems happiness imho. Even in her Cannes IV she said the one thing she wants in life is to be at peace with herself, to be at peace when she grows old.

There was a phase when she looked sad from inside but seeing her recent pics at airports and events in India she certainly looks happy. Only her eyes look dead and I presume it is the constant travelling to different time zones.

We expect people to regret their tattoos after a break-up but it depends on the individual. Maybe for them the tattoo changes meaning or they plain don't mind it.

But it's like a burden of past on her neck.

The best way is to let it go and start afresh.

@you2 I think she has no need to remind people such.

Deepika should really get rid of her past. Even if she has it to remind herself that she has won the battle but it's blocking. It will always remind her of past.

It's better to get rid of that. Why dwell in the past!

The scars she got from her past relationship must be still fresh that's why she needs the tattoo to remind her 'even if I had that bad rltnshp I have come so far'

That thing is still inside her. Once she is free from her past she won't need the tattoo to encourage her anymore.

She should let it go.

She said on KWK she doesn't even think bout it, it's just there, it doesn't bother her, it's just a tattoo

Also I guess it really hurts to remove a tattoo, it take upto years to remove it, and it will leave an ugly mark once it's gone, so I guess she doesn't want to go through all the hassle of removing it

Yo removing tattoos hurt more than getting them and you need multiple sessions. SO much pain from getting the original tattoo, so much pain from RK from the relationship, why the additional pain to get it removed
