I actually really liked Kat's red hair when she debuted it. I am a fan of red hair and I thought she actually rocked it pretty well.
DP's hair is also nice but her roots are too prominent and if she's going for the balayage look with it, its not working, the stylist didnt do it right. If I'm not mistaken though, from what I rmr DP colored her entire hair that color and at that time it looked really nice. Now its grown out and didnt grow out well. With proper styling it could've looked nice but I don't like the weird waves they are doing. This is what my hair looks like when I curl it and the curls fall out before I even get where I am going.

So redheads common among Kashmiris? Still that looks so... unnatural

Doesn't go with her (half) English/Kashmiri complexion or outfit 😊

Katrina had to colour it because she was in the middle of filming but Deepika has no excuse for that atrocious hair, makeup and gown

Both color doesn't look good but Katrina's looks tacky... It's really tacky considering it's a formal occasion.

It's not bayalage I don't think...it certainly doesn't look like it either (?). She's had this style for years though...

I think what DP's stylist does is dye her jet black roots a chocolate brown color and then adds the lighter blonde highlights on top of that. That way when her hair grows out, it doesn't look as harsh as say blonde highlights growing from black roots...at least thats what I could tell. The blonde streaks may be washing her out though

Kat's hair was for her movie, and it would be pretty harsh on her hair I would think for her to dye her hair black again for Cannes only to lift the color back to red soon after...Kat prolly decided to screw it and just pop up with the red hair instead of risking hair damage I guess

Most Indian skin tones just cannot pull off these brown and blonde hair colors. Even Aish looked bad with the weird orange hair she used to have.
Deepika used to look so beautiful a few years ago.

Now everything about her is so harsh and the hair color makes it even worse. The worst part of it is the dark roots. It almost looks like when average people color their hair at home with a box dye and then it gets all overgrown and tacky because they don't touch up the roots for a long time.

---------------

Katrina at that time could care less about Cannes. Her disinterest in clothes showed otherwise WIGH that figure think what what she could hv worn.

Yeah I think the roots just grew out and she didn't touch it up so it looks kinda tacky.
