Janaki: They first shot Amarendra's scenes and then Mahendra's, right? If yes, this explains.

This is exactly why I keep making all this -- Amarendra and Devasena end up ruling Maahishmati together with that happy-wala ending! (at least in my head)

An Ileana question 🤪

It's just that she isn't getting offers anymore IIRC. I think she once said how directors aren't calling her because they think she's happy with Bollywood.

She doesn't mind working in Tollywood if a director wants to offer her a role, but she's a bit more choosy now in the scripts and roles so it has to be a pretty good role.

Tragic endings aren't for me at all, in fact I never watch them. It was my dad who compelled me to watch BB1 and I instantly fell in love with it (except for Mahentika coochy cooing that is). And I was so excited for the part 2 because D and S are my fav on and offscreen pair.
They didn't have enough scenes in Billa and they were like cameos in Mirchi (speaking about Jai Vennela).

For me, Bhalla didn't come after Kattapa "killed" Baahubali. He just fell inconscious, and he was somehow rescued. And he somehow proved his innocence to the Rajmata and lived happily ever after ruling Maahishmati with Devasena and Mahendra 😳

I rather she does not act than be a prop/flowerpot in the movies!
I hope producers will offer her good movies, I really like her and I kinda miss her as well 😳

And I hear you! I do not like tragic endings at all (BB2 is the only exception I have made because it's got my Amarendra and Devasena in it ☺️). I think there's enough crap in our reality as it is; I want to see cinematic characters achieve happier endings.

D & S have a lot to offer as a couple, however, they've barely been showcased in a proper manner. We need someone to cast them with a story line that actually explores and brings to light their romance.

Agree completely. I didn't like her in Main Tera Hero at all. She was cute and weird, but that was a role to just showcase VD.

Something like Barfi and Rustom were her finer points in BW.

That's sort of what I don't like about Tollywood as well. A chunk of their movies just use women as dolls. And almost every single Tollywood movie would have a song where the actress is wearing little and dancing with jerky movements (a combination - for example Sweety in Vedalam in the song egiripothe was fine because that was her role).

I get a bit sad when I see Sweety and Ileana in those weird, tuneless songs.
