In my version though, Amarendra Devasena would be together.😆

I love this guy so much!😳😆 By the way, there was a news that he rejected an ad because it was a fairness cream ad, is it true?
Not exactly time. I have a thing for tragic endings, no matter how much I hate them they make characters more iconic. Probably, if they would have done so it would be good, but I don't think the depth would be so much. For example, every day as a prisoner Devasena used to have faith on her son, the vengeance in her increased in her every day as she collected those twigs. Everything had to be in epic scale and so as Amarendra's death would leave a great void not only in Maahishmati, but also in us.
I personally don't think time itself was a requirement to bring forth depth to characters -- the characters herein have been sketched really well. In fact, much like the marvel universe, we could probably get a movie on each one of them. And do not get me started on Devasena's imprisonment -- in my head, she does break down after hearing about Amarendra but picks herself up for her newborn and never allows herself to be taken prisoner.

Different views on Sivakami 👏
For me what Sivakami was that is reflected on Bhahu and what Bijaladeva was that is reflected on balla. 😊
Leaving aside how "fair" is sivakami I would like to share a scene in the movie which shows sivakami was fair.
Devasena enters the palace with her just born baby. She is told her husband is no more. She is shocked and broken.
Sivagami asks for forgiveness and she declares Jr. Bahu as the king.
The biggest victim in all this is Deva and her son. When Jr. Bahu is declared as the new king of Mahishmathi you can see devasena smile inspite of the loss. Not because her son is the king but because she understood what Sivakami did was not a crime but a punishment according to her.
And the saddest part is for the first time, devasena calls Sivakami "Athaya". She called her as rajmatha till than but first time she calls her "athaya". Husband's mom is called athaya. Devasena never called her that when her husband was alive. She called her that after his death that too after knowing it was her order to kill him. She trusted her to save her child.
I think that's where Rajamouli showed Sivakami was "fair" but she was "mislead"
The other victim of Bahu death is MAHENDRA.
After knowing the whole story, he stills calls Kattapa "Tatha".he calls himself raja matha Sivakami Devi manavudu, amrendra Bahubhali varusudu. His oath was taken under the name of Sivakami.
I loved how his anger was on the right person. Every character was right and every character was wrong in their own way.
So, it was true.😆
I noticed it.😆 And I think many have, just not discussed.😆Originally posted by: MeenuCrazyPanda

I thought that not many noticed that😭
in simple, It just means that Bhalla dug his own grave.. and that way, Mahendra's hands dont get dirty!@meenu
Hahahahaha extinct class I agree.Bloodline did everything for Mahendra. Gave him the exact face, muscle power, brains, respect for women, love for mother both biological and caregiver, presence of mind, , love for the countrymen he had never seen.By the way, Mahendra never let the statue of bhalla fall. Even in the end bhalla himself broke his statue. Does it have some significance?
