Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt had allegedly a torrid affair back in the day. So when the news of Sanjay Dutt's biopic being made broke out, it was expected that even this aspect of his life would be shown. However, soon there were reports of Madhuri asking the makers to chop off her references in the biopic as she didn't want unnecessary drama in her life.
Speaking to a leading daily, she said, " For where I am today, this [the topic of Dutt] has become redundant. Life has come a long way since then. I don't know where these reports are coming from. In any case, it doesn't make a difference to me. "
Rajkumar Hirani was a complete gentleman to this special request made by Madhuri, and heeded to it and chose to remove all of her references from the film.
Missing from Bollywood since her comeback in 2007, Madhuri is currently busy heading her dance academy that she opened quite recently.
Talking about her new role as an entrepreneur, she said, " I want to reach out to as many people as possible so that we can discover more talent. But the entrepreneur never takes over the artiste in me. I can compartmentalise well, switching between roles ".
