True! SRJ is the best on-screen Krishna. He was exceptional & portrayed all the shades of Lord Krishna amazingly. His face comes infront of me whenever I hear Krishna's name. He was THAT good. Even tho StarBharat itself was a trash & melodramatic show, distorted all the incidents of Original Mahabharata. Only BG music, songs & The other three actors Aham (Karna), Praneet Bhatt (Shakuni), Arav (Bhishma) were the saving grace & ofcourse SRJ! How cute & charming he was as Krishn 😛 I found him way better than Nitish Bhardwaj.

OT : I dont see any BW actor (at least currently Nobody) pulling off Lord Krishna TBH. But, I'd definitely love to see Ranbir as Karna! The most complicated & layered character of MB & I've idolized Karna since my childhood so I want my favorite actor RK to portray KARN 😳

I would love to see a Muslim actor playing an Indian God.It would give out the true meaning of secularism.Just like how some of the most beautiful Krishna hymns and devotional songs have been written by Muslim poets and sung by Christian singers...happens only in India👏

As a kid I used to imagine SRK as Krishna coz he was this lanky dude with innocent face,dimples,long hair,naughty swag,charm and wit😆.Ofcourse things change with time..Now cant envision the same.

Saurabh Jain is the modern day Krishna of Mahabharat series??

Ok I dont remember seeing much of Krishna coz the otherwise terrible cast,very average prodn values and shoddy direction was enough to put me off the whole series.Karna was a good looking guy but his acting didnt do justice to the best character of Mahabharat IMO.Rest less said the better..especially the Arjun-Panchali.Rupa Ganguly played Draupadi with such poise and aplomb

But I guess from the comments here Saurabh might have performed well as Krishna.

Shaheer is a big joke as far as acting is concered. He has always been terrible from his debut show, working in TV over 10yrs still I don't see even 1% improvement. He annoyed the hell outta me, always felt like changing the channel whenever his rondu & annoying face used to appear. 🥱 Never seen a more Wahiyaat actor (pardon me for calling him an actor) 😆 than him till date. He makes people like Uday & Tusshar look better. He was one of the reasons who ruined the show for me. I remember how he used to get thrashed everywhere during MB days for his LOLworthy acting. Even makers had a thought of replacing him with some other actor as Arjun because of the outrage amongst the original MB readers. 😆

& Pooja Sharma aka Drapadi was another OTT screeching queen. 🤢

Aham was flawless as Karna IMO.

Ranbir as Karna would be a treat to watch!!though I am not sure abt the physicality acting would be top notch..he will make me weep buckets when Karna faces all the great rejections and tribulations...Butt he will have to work out a lot to transform into warrior role...trust him on that after seeing the Dutt look

Shakuni was good yes!! Bhishma was channeling AB Sr I felt😆 but do not agree with Aham Sharma sorry(especially after watching him Brahmarakshas)

Akshay kumar? Prabhas is also charming, he just needs to work on his acting skills a bit more! And nitish bharadwaj was and still is the best krishna .. Others were bad to average...
